  • have obstructed over the periapical proces????

  • I had a root canal operation about 3.5 month ago. After the operation is done, I had little pain,I was told it is because healing. Then, a small bump appeared on my gum right above where the root of the tooth ends. It is on the right side 3rd one on top. I guess it is called molar 3. Then they told me it is infected, given anti-biotic and waited 3.5 months and the bump is still there. They removed the old canal put medication and told me to wait. Do you think it is infection causing this?

  • Nice music, nice video, very professionnal!

  • love it!!!

  • Brilliant filming, endodontics the way it should be done.

I was surprised to see how little sealer you use. ( i use the exact same procedure as you do, but i use about 10 times more, and make a giant mess. Whats best to do?)

    Kind regards

  • @guttababa Thank you for your comment. Actually, you don´t need much sealer when doing vertical compaction. Schilder himself used only a very small amount of sealer; during the downpack and backfill most of the sealer will come up anyway....

  • Looks like theres a giant cavitation where the tooth used to be at 5.00. Also theres clearly a nasty absess at the roots of both root canal teeth. Good job looking after the health of the patient.

  • Yes, there was a temporary filling (cavit) with a medication(Ca(OH)2) in the canals.

  • @etrexx What's a purpose of the Calcium OH in the canals?

  • @Temuil

The purpose is to create a basic (alkaline) pH in the apex area ,helps the healing by stimulating the growth of osteoblasts bone cells .

    Nicely done Dr.

I wish i could afford all the Hi tech you got there ........ : -)))))))

What s the name of the song .........................?

  • What was in tooth before treatment? I saw a temporary filling.

  • I've had four teeth that have undergone therapy (same two teeth on each side, must be genetic or something) and my dentist is awesome. I actually found that the process of getting the canal therapy was less aggravating than getting my teeth cleaned.

    Figure that..:P

  • I did extraction of 250 upper first in Iranian patients and there was about 1.6% 3 rooted upper first premolar. I also see few cases of multi rooted of first lower premolars(among 2000 of them)

  • how did you film this?...ie: what is your set up and do you mind photographing that so that i could do the same with my microscope etc?

  • i confess that i`d love to be as brilliant as you are in endodontics.

i also want to thank you so much for our interesting correspondence and express my highest appreciation for sharing your magnificent techniques and great experience in endodontic treatment.

my visit in your office was the best postgraduate education i have ever had. i am still deeply impressed of your work and very happy that i have had the chance to learn so much about endo in a few days.

    best regards, patrick.
