  • my idea: simplify the electronics: record the audiosignal from a working circuit and pitch it in 10 steps arround the resonance frequency. Put these samples in a cheap mp3 player and amplify it with a high power transisors or IGBT. If the resonance doesnt match, simply change the mp3 file. May be it is possible to directly model the signal with an audio syth software and bypass the circuit construction.

  • continued-- by isolating the capacitor plates from the water you are now allowed to use salt water, tap water or any water as long as the insulating layer is not chemically changed by the water type. consider using glass or plastic cylinders coated with conductive material as your capacitor plates but bare in mind that you need compensate in other areas as cylinder wall thickness will change the dielectric constant of the capacitor, lowering the capacitance

  • Why dont you just coat the Capacitor tubes with a good dielectric coating?, from what i gather is that the metal doesnt need to be in contact with the water.. If im right the water molecules will still line up with the electric field lines and covalent bonds will still break. Also coating capacitor tubes with a waterproof dielect will however change the capacitance between the plates, so you will have to change frequency or inductance to compensate for the dielectric distance change.

  • Of course, you know that to use anything other than distilled water will not create a capacitor. You can make your own distilled water inexpensively. You can buy a water distiller for about $100, or you can build your own. Plans are available online. Good luck.

  • @OMA1981 - You have to use distilled water only; otherwise, you just have electrolysis of water that is chemically assisted. You can't use tap water or ground water as they both have dissolved minerals in the water. The whole purpose of using distilled was is to maintain it (the water) as a dielectric, so you can use high voltage (with extremely low current flow) to crack the water. I haven't done anything with this product in a long time, I have gotten 4 different bad ass frequency generators to do testing with. I will be going at it again soon and if it works, I'll post it!!

  • Immersing the concentric tubes in laquer or paint, or possibly powder-coating as an insulator would remove DC flow and prevent conventional electrolysis. This is not a resonant circuit, as there is a blocking diode in series. The choke coil(s) have the effect of limiting the pulse-voltage increase on consecutive pulses, in order to acheive a step-waveform at the water capacitor. If anyone gets this working pease post tech details, ie pulse freq./ voltage on electrodes, coil details etc.

  • I too am looking to replicate and understand exactly what was accomplished with Stan Meyers. As a school teacher I would love to show my students how hydrogen is produced using resonance, high voltage and low amps. Perhaps their is a web forum for those that want to share this information and make it available to all. Some Youtube vids seem to show that they have accomplished this task already I am not so sure they have done so with low external energy put in.

  • In a video by BigFatPothead, who built his own Lawton repro with Meyer tubes, he turned on an a.m. radio while tweaking 10k pots and 50k pots (supposed to be 47k in the Lawton circuit). You could hear the freq. and timbre of the resonance - it's nice to see AND hear when more gas is being produced. Resonance - I bet Keely had lots to say about that. A repro Musical Dynasphere would be a tough build!! I don't even own my own drill - that's why this is tough for people. H2O tech needs subsidies!

  • OMA,The capacitance of water changes with the impurities it holds. The more impurities will result in lower capacitance. So by gaping the two electrodes more will increase the capacitance. That is a short answer to your question. But I think you are attempting to control the process so that it maintains a constant production rate reguardless of water. This is where the monitoring circut come in. It should adjust the voltage which will increase or decrease the amperage. Changing the capacitance

  • I tried using a plastic fabric to create such a device so that i can have the plates as close as posible without shorting - the closer the better it seems to produce - The problem is the hydrogen and oxygen bubbles gets trapped by the fabric and only the fine bubbles escape-- Once large bubbles form the effect seems to be ignition between the plates since the bubbles skin provide a low resistance path for the charge to jump.

  • No one has thought of using very thin stainless steel bent at the same degree of the water molecule, about 105 degrees. I bet something besides tubes works better - but probably not, on the other hand, because tubes are easily induced to resonate with sound as well (organs, Rhodes electric pianos).

  • For the purpose asked in the final, having the capacitor working means having the plates naked with power and water as dieletric requires it to be free of any impurity. If any of this fails the proposed model can not function.

  • To get the Covalent bond to break we must explore all forces AND elements. Maybe the poles in the water should not be the same material, so opposites attract. Ever see aluminum rust when given a steel bolt? We must stand the water molecule on its "head" initially before we break the covalent bond. Also the frequency of the light spectrum would feed the the hydrogen atom to "grease". the molecules. Then the frequency of the voltage and the voltage hopefully would be enough to break the bond.

The laser is generated by adjusting one end of the laser tube(scanning). Understand how laser works may help.

  • Hadn't thought about the resonance effect - Neat. Main problem is that the resonant point will change as the dialectric alters due to electrolysis. However, if the system is designed for the steady state, it will start as standard electrolysis and drift into resonance and heance peak efficiency - but how does it perform even then ?

  • It is my understanding (or misunderstanding) that the only way to retain a relatively constant resonant point is to balance the electrolyte by drawing off excess electrons released into it by the breaking of the molecular bonds.

  • Excellent video. Moving (adjusting) the the inner pipe would change the resonant frequency. Inductive coupling on the power supplies. Standard electrolysis is far too inefficient. I'd love to share some ideas I have with you.

  • I like your idea about insulating the pipes from the water but as electrons will flow when pulsed through the insulator you still have a form of electrolysis and as such heating of the water and current consumption. I am interested to know how you have got on with this in the last 10 months.

  • Can you not just shellac one or both of the conductors to insulate them from the water and use a toroidal transformer or a unit from a microwave oven. What is the step up voltage you think you will require?

If Stan shared ti with everybody and ran some classes on how to do it at home, then we would have had thousands of people on to it, and no one could then be killed, or poisoned.   • a virtual unlimited alternating current will flow through a a capacitor (the cell) if in series resonance, which seems to be the case with Meyers drawing except for the diode in series with the power supply (which disallows ac current). If it were parallel resonance, it should have an inductor in parallel so it would have a very high alternating voltage when in resonance but I don't see the parallel inductor.

  • You can use distilled water and make a completely closed liquidus-gas circuit. You then have a water tank, splitting device, back-ignition-protection, engine or fuel cell to produce electricity, if engine: the components coming out of the engine is vapor and water, and maybe some small amount of unburnt hydroxy.. Then one need to collect this gas/water mixture and condense it in a closed system, [to be concluded..]

  • Your statement about using taps water and not distilled is wrong. The water has to be pure. Meyer's electrolyses rely on this fact. Any impurities in the water will cause a leakage in the water capacitor and affect its Q in a resonant Circuit. If you don't want to use distilled water an RO water-filter may be used to clean up the water. Our tap water in this country is awful. The junk in it is hidden with clarifiers. Chlorine

  • Coq...bundo, You don't have to have a dc transformer. A simple door bell transformer will work. Along with a quad-rectifier diode assembly to get the polarity straight. Feed your d/c voltage in the output side and attach the quad-diode arrangment to the input side of the transformer and connect your polarities to the opposite side of quad-diode. I have gotten 72.5 volts out of a 9 volt transitter radio battery.

  • It has to do with the coils in the system, one creates a magnetic field then the current of the second is add back, increases voltage..the current is hit with a square a wave stopping flow. the high voltage is the work horse.

  • I have a couple Ideas check them out by watching my videos (they are short). Just click on my name. My idea would (3rd + 4th) video could use any type of water as it uses only the VOLTAGE/POTENTIAL/Capacitor and would allow no current to flow through the Dialectric.

  • Use distilled water with a tiny bit of lye

    in it. there are several advantages to this, the water will not stain or scum up and the lye acts as a catalist (it does not get used up in the process) so afterwards all you need to do is keep on adding distilled water or purified water to get the same conductivity.

    There must be poteintial difference in the WATER: if you use tap water and isolated plates: there will be NO voltage across the water: only across the isolator ...
