take some time and do a nice slow double beat.

The writing on the cadence isn't that bad, although I'm not partial to the upbeat double shots every other measure.

LOL, actually not the 80s. Try 90s. Was written when I was there by our drumline and Mr B. The bass line was tighter then but good to see it still gets rocked.
