I've heard that actual tennis balls are really bad for dogs' teeth, the covering is like a Brillo pad, wearing away the enamel... there are dog-friendly 'tennis-style' balls available, I think the people who make the Kong them

Reminds me of my little Bichon boy who passed last year (age 12). He used to fetch till your arm fell off. My girl Bichon, on the other hand, was just like "Go get your own @&*! ball!".

@SeerTroop Yes, he got poisoned by the stuff our neighbor's lawn service used. 8-( But my girl only lived to be 7, never found out what went wrong with her, but she had been a puppy mill puppy and was always small and sickly, so maybe something to do with that.

Scotts Bichons, They are wonderful breeders out of Mesa, Arizona. Puppy Jack is actually going to stud with one of there bichons, because he is pretty much full grown and only weighs about 8 lbs, where as average bichons weigh about 12-16 lbs. Puppy jack is about 9.5 months old now
