thats a diffrent way to feed them! i've got a parraket named tweety he's yellow and green! we also have a lovebird named kiwi she's a peached faced

around 14 days is normally a good time to pull them from the nest to start hand feeding.

i hated when the baby i raised kept running off, i put it in a bowl, that way it couldnt go anywhere and if it made a mess it was easy to clean :)
