It's sad to say that some people can only do remakes and never wanting to produce or perform their own thing unlike the music of the 60's and 70's. What they do is just make new versions of the originals. Have anyone ever given it a thought that the kind of music people produce in the recent years are not 100% original and there are a lot of them that can be forgotten after a year's time?

If this were to get on the radio today, first you'd have to add a drum machine and some sythisizers, auto-tune the vocals and put Pitbull or some other hip hopper to rap over it in order to "save" the record. Because everyone knows hardly any singer can do anything by themselves anymore without a "hype man" or rapper doing shout-outs and name dropping the record producers names all over the record.
