  • My favorite part is the violin solo!!!!!

  • I cried...it was so beautiful. I always loved this song and to see these children singing it like this was just amazing...

  • The British Bone Marrow Donar Appeal was a charity that was founded in 1987 to aid leukemia patients and Brian become involved in 1989 when one patient requested that this song be played at her funeral. This version, released the same year, was performed by Ian Meeson and Belinda Gillett and sales of the single raised £150,000. He remained a patron of the charity until it closed in 2005. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any more direct info on the children.

  • Last week a teenager die in Portugal beacuse dind't find bone marrow and i cry beacuse my neurologist work in cancer hospital of lisbon and i feel that lost a friend

  • hauntingly beautiful. Voices of an angel.

  • Sick bastard, those kids are NOT humping, they´re riding a rocking horse. Some people are just to gross to see innocence in children. As of the song, its wonderfully performed!

  • dont care if they where humping song is great... video is great

  • hahaahhaaah

  • I assume this was for "The British Bone Marrow Donor Appeal" because they are both wearing shirts with that written on them. I assume they are terminally ill patients of this organization.

The girl was Katherine Mary Jones; she sadly passed away a year after this was filmed.

  • i always have shiver down my spine when i hear this song, it's so beautiful...

  • me too

  • That isnt Brian's daughter. Its Katherine Mary Jones who Sadly passed away in 1990, a year after this was made. Rest in peace x

  • That beautiful dark haired child sitting next to Brian was not his daughter?

  • it has to be. she looks exactly like him! so adorable.

  • Yes, I believe that's his daughter Louise.

  • wonderful

  • Przyznaję się,zatkało mnie.Świetnie wykonany utwór!

  • kocham te piosenke

podoba mi sie w wykonaniu Freedie'ego

podobała mi sie w wykonaniu Mateusza Ziółko (MAM TALENT!)

bardzo podoba mi sie w wykonaniu tych ślicznych dzieci

    nice nice!! BRAVO

  • very, very good, I got goosebumps, which only Freddie himself has accomplished untill now!

  • best cover after Seal sang this in Freddie's Tribute, which the best cover I've heard.

  • Well done!

  • wow up there in the soprano range. oddly the girl sings a low pitch than the boy. Wow... he can reach a range I want to reach... cudose

  • I love this song and it always bring a tear to my heart but i cant stop listening over and over again , beautiful version

    Thanks

  • Without looking at the video, i can't help but picturing Freddy Mercury inhaling a ballon with hellium and grabbing the mic. Sorry, but i like the original.

  • Hello,

In 1989, Brian May's daughter Louisa, who was at the time eight years old, sang a version of the song. in this video clip you can see her besides Brian in the Studio. It was included on a 12 inch single, along with another version of the song that Brian May performed with two kids named Ian Meeson and Belinda Gillett

  • I cant stop watching this again and again!!

  • these children are guided by Brian May (QUEENS FM) who does so much right to a wonderful song .. Freddy would be so delighted.. so see these children sing HIS SONG..nice.. thank you

  • is she the daughter of brian may?

  • yes

  • wow very nice! the voices of these children is awesome! and when brian smiled ha you can tell that he liked it. i bet that Freddie, right up there in heaven, was grinning like crazy! :)

  • omg so beautiful, when i saw Brian smile it nearly made me cry. what a beautiful homage to King Freddie.. i love it :')

  • Whoa. I'm trying to get my goosebumps to go away!

  • wonderfull

  • wow this is just great first time i have come across this, amazing what you can find on you tube.

  • Wow, this was just... Amazing! In my opinion this boy and girl is one of FEW which really have the success giving this song the magic and power. I'm listening to Freddie sing it every day, it's one of mye favorite songs, and he sings it of course perfect. But these kids sings the song on a lovley way. Freddie should have heard it..

  • he did

  • Absolutely fantastic! So beautiful it brought tears to my eyes!

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bravo

  • I know this song since i got 8 years old... and i love kids, so, when i have seen this video clip... wow !! Bravo ! (sorry for my strange english, im better in french)

  • this is a secret video of the DVD Queen Greatest Video Hits II

  • Excellent post. The children,Ian Meeson & Belinda Gillett, sung this cover in 1989, for the British Bone Marrow Donor Appeal. Although Brian's left arm is injured, he has produced the track and played guitar and keyboards, whilst Roger played Drums and John played bass. On my opinion, only this children with heavenly voices, Jennifer Rush and Seal have REALLY succeeded to give this song a magic touch reminding of Freddie.

As for those expressing here imature thoughs, 3 words: Grow up,lads!

  • Jennifer Rush!! Bullshit

  • Thanks for the info. These 2 kids are awesome! It was great to see the lads producing it too. You have to know Freddie was there in spirit!

  • WOW

  • y does the boy sound like a girl

  • Puberty was still down the road for him. Ever here of the Vienna Boys Choir? Same reason they can hit those high notes...

  • @realspark21

I could hit C6 in my prime during my mid 20s, steady and with good intonation but without any power of course. An octave lower than that was very natural for me to do, although these days I can barely go much higher than C4! Hahaa still not bad considering I have not sung in years and turn 40 soon.

  • Kudos to both kids.. they sound great... very pure sounding voices. Im sure Freddie would have been most pleased. They do the song justice.

  • Im not aware of Freddie having any kids, he was a god father to his long time ex girl friends child... I could be wrong but I have never seen or heard of any mention of him having any children of his own. So subbmitter... Im gonna go with... No... neither are his kids. RIP Freddie

  • i wonder if those kids knw how luck they are

  • that was beautiful!

  • das ist echt hammer geil (wunderschön anzuhören)

  • Oh my god it's Mr.Meeson! That little boy is my singing teacher now!

For those who wondered what else he did... I think he trained at Phil Winston's then was in Cats in London then some other stuff and ended up teaching back at Winston's...and he's effing ace!

  • :'(....angeli...sn fantastici....

  • ufffffffff... that boy is great!!

  • ooohhh what a song....angel song...beautifull

  • I have tears in my eyes after hearing this. I know Freddie would have been proud of these kids. I wonder if they're still singing today?

  • Wasn't this song in Moulin Rouge or something?

  • I don't know. The Show Must Go On was in Moulin Rouge, and this song was in Highlander, but I don't know about this song being in Moulin Rouge.

  • Wow!!!!! What is there to say about the these two kids? WOW!!

  • Ian & Belinda

  • shivers down my spine

  • its fantastic song its wonderfull

  • This boy is pitch perfect. Does he still sing. A real tribute to the Great Freddy

  • The singers are very talented and the song is very eery and if it gives you chills that may be because the mercury has dropped.

  • beautiful... but haunting

  • Beautiful...There's children have a wonderful voice. That's song is realy moving...

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!! i had goose pickles!!!

  • Always that I see this video i cry beacause i have a rare disease and my doctor works in cancer hospital in lisbon, portugal.
