  • I know you would have to add some cardio to lose the overall fat from the body since you can't spot reduce, but whenever I gain weight it goes right to my thighs and my waist is still small, I'm tired of feeling uncomfortable in my jeans and I don't want to buy new ones since my legs and calves are too big for the jeans but it fits my waist perfectly. Is there anyway or like a stay at home exercise to keep the thigh fat under control without gain muscle, because I have muscular legs?

    The following is really hard for me to say because i get bullied because of my fat thighs i was just wondering if i do this 5 times a week will i see a differance in 6 weeks time. Because that is when my college starts and i have very fat thighs.

  • You can't spot reduce! Your body will show you where the fat comes and goes first. Include more aerobics - bike, swimming, jogging etc., but do at least 2 days a week of resistance training (as in the video), so your body won't use your muscles for energy while exercising.

  • I thought sprinting makes legs bulk. Well, at least on my body it does. I go jogging usually in the morning on incline 2-3 miles. I will try some of your leg exercises though and see if it makes a difference. Thank you for your tips! =)

  • Does look like it'd work, but I have arthritic tendancies in my knees, so I can't do all that crouching jumping lunging shit. Is there anything that would work just as well with out having to do them?

  • Seems like this is NOT for beginners. I can't do the number of reps required in each set. Is it better to do fewer of each set or just rest more and push to do all the reps required from the beginning?

  • @Roshcat Depends on your diet, your starting weight, your intensity (what type of weight you use), but you can lose about an inch around your thighs in four weeks

  • no to both, you can substitute bar with dumbbells but thats it, and no you won't get bulky, i guarantee it ;)

  • i really hope ppl that watch this realize that target workout's to burn fat are a waste of time. as any trainer that knows what there doing and they will tell u the same thing. if u got a fat gut all the sit-ups in the world will not burn ur fat gut away. want to lose fat? proper diet and cardio. now while it's true muscle burns fat u can not target an area to burn fat in that area alone. when ur body grabs fat to burn it it will do so from where ever it wants and not from the area ur working.

  • Thanks for the comment, you can't target fat areas, but most people lack lean muscle in these exact areas which DO give shape and definition. In addition your hormones determine where you store your body fat, as evidenced by Charles's Biosignature course
