@spartan1173433 honestly i dont get why it matters so fucking much i mean srsly the first time they did an image of link as a lefty they probably just drew a picture and the artist didnt think for 2 seconds about which hand the sword was in and the graphics designers didnt care to change it really the whole LINK IS LEFT HANDED thing is stupid

@cryingwolf1613 No, that's not why Link is left handed. Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Legend of Zelda, is also left handed and made Link left handed as well. The reason why he's right handed now is because of the Wii: most players are right handed. Faithfully keeping Link left handed would of made for a very difficult control scheme as most players would be playing right handed and it wouldn't feel natural.
