You could tell from this fight that JuanMa getting KO'd was inevitable. To his credit though he seems to get buzzed quite easily in almost every fight, but has an uncanny ability to keep fighting and work through it. Even the Salido fight looked like he could have continued. Very exciting fighter and a warrior. Looking forward to his return.
Well he won't be getting one after losing to an unranked fighter in a fight that was not even close (its a SD loss but the judge that scored it for him should be banned from judging for life)

Juanma leaves himself way to open. Gamboa's greater hand speed will capitalize on this when they fight and I don't see the fight going past 8 rounds. Then again, Gamboa's defense isn't the best either, so Juanma has a punchers chance as long as the figh lasts.

JuanMa is bigger than donaire in terms of weight but donaire has a huge advantage in terms of height. If JuanMa and the Filipino Flash will clash on ring I won't be surprise if one of them would fall in early rounds. But base from what I had observed on JuanMa he is a powerful puncher and his agility is very awesome but for some instances his defense is not quite good enough to faced a counter puncher boxer like Nonito. Nonito uses his great footwork that I think JuanMa didn't have.
I laugh when i saw him fight Rogers "The Tiger" Mtagwa. hahaha Lopez is protected like Julio Cezar Chavez Junior :). they don't want Lopez to have a lost with an average fighter like Mtagwa so they robbed the decision from him!

donaire can compete with juanma just give him time to develop his body to superbantamweight or feather weight (one or two years). Size doesnt matter, concepcion is not skillful, he uses his power but not his brain...donaire uses both plus the fact that he's way too fast for JuanMa.

Donaire wont be in featherweight for a few more years and by then juanma will probably be in lightweight or Jr. lightweight. either way this is a fight that probably will never happen, and even if it did. Juanma leaves himself way to open. Gamboa's greater hand speed will capitalize on this when they fight and I don't see the fight going past 8 rounds. Then again, Gamboa's defense isn't the best either, so Juanma has a punchers chance as long as the figh lasts.

Lopez's punches looks like nothing special and slow (in the cameras I guess), Unlike Gamboa's super machine gun punch!
But one Lopez's power punch connected, it's a sure KO.
Bernabe really got no chance in this fight from the start,
Wrong strategy(Not that I know one to defeat Lopez) and unready for the title match,
But good thing he knocked him down.

gamboa hasn't prooves to take punches by powerful fighters yet like lopez took that left hook from concepcion and didnt even flinch, concepcion is powerful although not too expirienced and lopez also took shots from marquez as well and he's get up and win so he has prooven to have a chin, gamboa yet hasn't.

JuanMa is bigger than donaire in terms of weight but donaire has a huge advantage in terms of height. If JuanMa and the Filipino Flash will clash on ring I won't be surprise if one of them would fall in early rounds. But base from what I had observed on JuanMa he is a powerful puncher and his agility is very awesome but for some instances his defense is not quite good enough to faced a counter puncher boxer like Nonito. Nonito uses his great footwork that I think JuanMa didn't have.

@Cudder89 Are you kidding me, both Lopez and Gamboa are volume punchers. Nonito can match both their speeds and is a much better counter puncher. Both Lopez and Gamboa have been dropped as they were being aggressive throwing volume, so it makes it interesting. Both would be amazing fights to watch, and as much as Donaire says he isn't moving up. He's too much of a competitor to just sit around and not take big fights. 4 years ago no one thought Manny would be at 140, himself and roach included.

donaire can compete with juanma just give him time to develop his body to superbantamweight or feather weight (one or two years). Size doesnt matter, concepcion is not skillful, he uses his power but not his brain...donaire uses both plus the fact that he's way too fast for JuanMa.

Donaire wont be in featherweight for a few more years and by then juanma will probably be in lightweight or Jr. lightweight. either way this is a fight that probably will never happen, and even if it did. Donaire hasnt faced ANYONE that hits as hard as Juanma, caballero, or gamboa which is also very quick with the hands. and by the time Donaire gets up there this people will either be passed their prime, or higher up.

@TheWisdom187 im not sure this is true. donaire was saying a few months ago how when he's not training, he goes up in weight very quickly - his arms and chest get a lot bigger. so I don't think it will be any kind of a problem for him to go up in weight. whether he carries his speed and power is another question. also, whether he can fight without his physical advantages is another.

@Cudder89 if Donaire moves up he would have to face people like Guillermo Rigondeaux, and Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. and they are not pushovers. he mmight be able to hold his own, but this isnt a 5´4 montiel. Rigondeaux is fast too and a hell of a boxer that i can actually say would own Donaire. Vazquez is slower but stronger then Donaire. if Donaire stays at 118lbs he´ll face Joseph King Kong Agbeko or Abner Mares, but i think Donaire can take them. i´d like to see him go to 122 but its dangerous.

@Cudder89 Miguel is a featherweight, and one of the prospects of the year, that said he has skills. but he is too big and strong for donaire, sure donaire has more experience and is faster, but its featherweight. Donaire is years away for now to make the jump, and by then miguel wont be a prospect and would be a nice fight to watch. but again, this isnt the 118lbs division.. this is the 126lbs and there are some big fishes in that lake.
