I have got a question abot drums: I know some people who just play by ear,have no idea how to count and just use instincts or whatever. On the other hand I know there is people who break down the beats, read sheet music, count and all the rest so which way is best?

@Danz2003 I know you probably wont take my advice but i am a drummer myself and it is good to learn drums by breaking down beats and once you have the basic part down jazz it up a little. once you learn it add some stick tricks and fills to the song by your "instincts"

Dude you dont have to do stick flips to be a good drummer.... that(to me) is wannabe stuff, sure it looks cool but I feel that people use that as an excuse for their terrible drum playing. I play pretty amazing and all I do is put my heart and soul into it. freaking easy to play drums
