i cry to this song every time i hear it because when i was four years old i was abused by my real mom and she even neglected me and i thought the pain was here to stay but i went to God and asked him to help me and since that day i've been happier and i know that i can do anything with God i never knew what it was like to be a survivor of abuse till i heard this song

This is exactly how I feel about my mother. After almost 10 years of alternating btw fighting and repressing all the pain, God finally helped me to forgive her and we were actually able to reconcile and started building up a real relationship :)
@Msmademoiselle91 I know exactly how you feel. This song helped me heal the relationships with both of my parents that were so damaged. Praise the Lord!
This song made me ball the first time i heard it....and every word in this song was me. But now i'm learning to forgive and slowly but surely getting my life together....and now i know that i have someone who will never stop loving me, My Savior~ Jesus Christ <3

this really speaks out. so many people think about the beat of music, and how the voice sounds. but the words he sings, they're amazing. it just so happens that this song is so close to perfect, ill consider it.
I cryed when i herd this song for the first time. My walls have seen my cry, fall down, give up, and almost give up life. Way more times than seeing me happy. And i dont trust people or feel loved. And one night i prayed my heart out to God and felt better and now know someone does love and care about me. And ever since iv done that i have been eating what i should and thrown my blade away and havent touched on in 3 months, which is HUGE for me.
@thebabygirl2609 I know just how you feel inside my friend!!! I have seen and felt the agony that throws at you. I have a huge problem with trusting and allowing myself to feel loved. I don't know you but I feel your pain from where i am right now. I still battle everyday to try and control my emotions......especially anger and trust..
