BTW, I lived three years in Uttar Pradesh and I have never met a Hindu who told me to not be a Buddhist, while every Muslim I have met and meet advises me to convert to Islam because Islam is ...... When you meet Allah He will have no problem at all with that because He appreciates all valid spiritual religions. Allah doesn't suffer from dualistic thinking; alas too many of his children do. BTW, students of Buddhism are asked to Not speak about Buddhism, nor to give a book about Buddhism to someone, unless somebody shows sincere interest in the priceless teachings of the Buddha.

I find it rude that you dismiss the unique peace loving accomplishment of Shirdi Sai Baba, and bluntly say to not follow in the footsteps of this noble non-sectarian fully accomplished Muslim Saint. There is subtle difference between Saints and great souls. Saints can communicate with God and Great souls do good work. BV Narasimhaswamy a lawyer (1930's something ) ,has interviewed some of people who have seen Shirdi Sai. He interviewed people of all religions (almost close to 100, who were with Baba and  cross checked there stories to confirm that they were telling the truth. Shirdi Sai stated that he would protect his devotees from his grave and he also said he doesnt have any successors.
