@SonnyBurnett2008 yes. i am setting a bad example for them. but i think i can keep the baby fish growing up from having the desire to go out and buy a pack from the local gas station. :D
@SonnyBurnett2008 yes i see what you mean. setting a bad example and all. first the guppies might end up hooked on cigarettes. then who knows? perhaps cocaine or crack from there. perhaps pcps. they might even start getting angry with me for water changes because imbalanced ph levels start giving them an oxygen deprivation high. then they might start huffing out of aresol spray cans. could get quite messy.
@TonyYaajETC as i always say to everyone: its not my store :) i do make this clear if people would ever read the things i type :) but i am sure tony whose store it is, would greatly appreciate your compliments :)
@12512cool Thanks :) Tony is our best client and his store is very impressive. Normally these vids are much shorter but my Dad ended up on a huge rant about Guppy Breeding so i figured, why not? lol. If people want a crash course on how its done, now they have one :)
@12512cool well if u ever decide to breed them, its like we said. its not easy. take a lot of tanks and a lot of time. if u love doing in then of course it doesn't seem hard cuz if ur having fun then nothing else matters. but if you don't enjoy it then it can be a royal bitch. we have tons of tanks in the basement, an out door pond and currently building an in door pond. so, we're pretty dedicated :D and not just guppies! :D
@pondscape Thats very cool! Actually though, if I ever did decide to breed fish I'd most likely breed Bettas and do the same thing. I have a male Betta that I had imported and he's a beauty. I'd love to get some babies out of him. And I could still use this method!
@12512cool i am not 100% sure on that. Different fish have different methods. So I can't confirm nor deny that this method would or would not work with Bettas. Plus if i recall correctly -- Bettas are egg layers, where as Guppies are live barers. Would a method for an ape work on a chicken? :)
@12512cool probably not :) however, i just don't want to make it seem as if i am somehow claiming that would work. wouldn't want anyone saying "this dude said it would work but it didn't. what an unknowledgable douchebag" or whatever :D
