someone once told me the "Ada Owerri" is suppose to be a representation of Igbo girls all over. He claimed it was suppose to be a metaphor. Oh well whether metaphor or not, I still love the song and concept behind it.

@beautyao actually the person under you didn't quite get it right. Owerri is a city in Nigeria and yes "Ada" does mean "first daughter" but it has many connotations such as "girl" or "babygirl" so a direct english translation is "Owerri Girl" in "American" he could be saying " that Owerri chick got me going crazyy'

No other girl in the family usually have ada except first daughter. just as opara is reserved 4 first born boys. Nwa nwanyi is used to describe a female child, or agbor- young woman. so the correct translation is First daughter of owerri,:)
