  • Just give me chills down the spine, that evil-but-pretends-to-be-innocent look ~~~

  • For a few seconds, I believed in Richard Brook. It was terrifying.

  • Sherlock's expression at 0:14 is the best part of this clip. The mild, burning contempt in his eyes smile topped off by that TINY ounce of respect he clearly has for Moriarty's meticulous plan - that's just a great 'Sherlock' expression right there. Benedict played that moment wonderfully. This is what Sherlock gets off on. This is his excitement, the idea of having this massive web of lies to unfold. Cumberbatch owns practically all of this show, but that one TINY moment is utter genius.

  • @willkillyoulast exactly!I,from my part, found this glance ambiguous because you could interprete it the way you said, but it also gave you the impression that Sherlock was thinking "so you gave my plan away you bastard".I have to admit that for a moment-the only moment in the ep-I thought that maybe the Rich Brook story was true! And all this, only from a second's glance. He is an acting god, period.

  • @kateris1976 Preach it. This guy is going places. All that, on one teensy screen shot - actor extrordinaire.

  • Abdrew Scott is AMAZING. up until that sneaky little look at Sherlock, i was doubting my own existance!

  • Do you want you children to have traumas? Do you want them to be sociopaths? If your answer is yes, then you need "Uncle Moriarty tells stories" DVD witch features such classics as "I will skin you", "I'll make you into shoes", "You're ordinary" and many, many more. Order now and receive free "Sherlock is fake" T shirt.

  • I was shouting "Liar!" at the tv during this scene. My mom was staring, lol

  • Is it just me, or did Sherlock do the "i get it now" face @ 00:26

  • @Horses0rats0peace mind=BLOWN

  • its on dvd. his voice says "therefore has to be true" what a dick

  • SO MUCH AWESOME. This was the moment I had to pause and just freak out internally about the super awesomeness. This is when Sherlock became, no contest, my favourite TV show replacing my last one. I LOVE SO MUCH ABOUT THIS SCENE. THE ACTING IS TOO FANTASTIC lidgoisdjdfngdfd. Sherlock, angry, but that slight smile like he's impressed, Moriarty taunting Sherlock, Jim not even for a second having doubt. And that second when your mind goes down the path of 'what if'. What if it IS true? Beautiful.

  • @PopePrincess Exactly my reaction except I freaked out externally xD

  • If this was by any stretch of the imagination true - When he was on trial for being the criminal mastermind JIM MORIARTY, why the hell did no one say HEY - he looks surprisingly like that funny camp irish man from that show my kids watch.

    Kitty - you're an idiot.

  • 00:13 Thinking: "You are a fucking piece of work, aren't you?" they're both amazing in this scene. <33

  • What I love about this plot twist is that John doesn't believe it for a SECOND. He trusts Sherlock too much to think he'd ever do that. <3

  • to fake his personality Moriarty must've recorded a kid's DVD...this is hilarious xD

  • So Moriarty, where can I get this DVD....?

  • 00:11 the 'haha-i-told-mom-and-she-believed-me' face

  • Through this whole scene im just watching benedicts performance. The way he his curling his fist and swaying like a spring ready to pounce fantastic.

  • I don't think I've *ever* seen Sherlock look as dangerous as in this scene!

  • o-o that look Moriary gives Sherlock at 0:12 just said "haha! got ya!" lol then Shelocks face is like "okay okay i am a little impressed" lol they are two great actors who can have a conversation with their face expressions XD brilliant!

  • I love Sherlock's look of "FINALLY, someone I can really pit my wits against".

  • I almost peed my pants when I first saw this scene oh my god. Has to be one of the best in the entire series.

  • They should have made his actor name Andrew Scott XD

Now whenever Andrew is playing a part in a show or something, I can't help but hink 'It's just Morarty incognito' XD

  • Richard Brooke is the english translation of Reichanbach, if you were wondering:)

  • Really great scene! And I almost believed him I have to admit ;p Not the "Sherlock-invented-Moriaty"-part but the possibility that Moriaty engaged this actor, this Richard Brook, to play himself, to play the evil brilliant villain. It would'nt have been the first time that Moriaty use another voice and face for his own purpose. So I almost fell for that :D He is really really good!

  • I'd totally buy Sir Boastalots Story on DVD :D

  • He's on a DVD? Seems legit.

  • You can tell Sherlocks thinking "Fuck me, your good."

  • I love how unswervingly loyal John is to Sherlock. He's faced with all this evidence, which would generally cripple a person with doubt, but he's so loyal... :D Awesome scene.

  • There is some connection with a story that Jim told to Sherlock in taxi

  • @MultiPAVEL86 some connection? man, there is everything! that's why this show is so brilliant.

  • Andrew Scott: An actor playing Jim Moriarty playing an actor playing Jim Moriarty. Brilliant.

  • @haberk12 a bit inception-like don't you think:)

  • I really HATED this part when I first watched it... because I almost believed him. lol

  • is it wrong that i find sherlock's simultaneous look of hate, fury and appreciation incredibly sexy during this scene?

  • Where can we can this DVD? :')

  • The look between him and Sherlock when he says "it's on DVD" :')

  • I love that there is a secret exchange of looks between the two during this scene.

  • The terrifying thing about this scene is that for a second, just a split second, I believed him..

  • can you like..re-upload this..& make it a bit longer? i love that part when sherlock turns into a raging bull for a second & jumps at morairty. those eyes of sheer hate can (never thought id say this but..) give sylar a run for his money. i mean benedict actually scared me in that moment!

  • Sherlock: "Ohhh, you're clever..."

I love how he's repulsed and furious with him, yet he still can't help but have a tiny bit of appreciation for Moriarty's brilliance.

  • @xiluvtwilightx oh yes! I love that too, and it is amazing how much you can get just form one look:)

  • He's almost got me believing him. It makes me sad.

  • I literally snorted. Jim's hair and face is just hilarious.

  • The noises I made when I saw this scene for the first time....were not human.

  • I'd buy that DVD.

  • At 0:14, Sherlock's like "oh you magnificent bastard"

  • Sherlock's face at 0:14 and 0:26. Yummy.

  • @gerardwfreak

Ikr!? That moment when you realize you just ate your imaginary therapist is always that scary moment. :)

  • It's scary when you think you start loosing your mind...

  • Love this scene but please upload the bit right after this where Sherlock starts shouting at Moriarty :)

  • @TashaLovesYueexxx yes please do! benedict actually scared me with that hellish hate in his eyes...yikes...

  • words cannot describe how much i love andrew scott

  • I love watching the smirk Sherlock gets at 00:14 and at 00:28. I love how he's just like, "Oh, a new game Moriarty? Let's play."

  • OMG I was totally the angriest person in the world whil watching this scene X_X

  • all my mind was thinking in this scene was "YOU BASTARD, MORIARTY".

  • Richard Brook = Rich Brook = Reichenbach

  • I'm the storyteller. It's on DVD.

  • Richard Brook is innocent!

  • I love it when moriarty pulls that sly face at sherlock at 00:11!

  • @EvilSez06 never noticed that! ugh...that look creeps me out!
