  • Ah stop the Hate! What are u thinking? Hmm.? if your show was so wonderful than surely you understand the true meaning of the musical right? Its not about who has the best set, its about who is rocking the message. I am upset that trendy fady wanna be peace lovers are into this play now. its stripping the true meaning, Make love not war what the hell are we fighting for?

  • nameless

  • Oh, my. This often sounds off-key. Several parts don't harmonize. Not to mention it's just not impressive.

  • Dude...it's "Hair"...it didn't even have a plot until they made a movie out of it

  • What does that have to do with his comment at all? He was talking about the singing, not plot.

  • we so did better at John Abbott Cegep in Ste-Anne-De-Bellevue in montreal like cmon we knew how to sing we had excelent costumes I mean this is nothing our set was so bigger!! towers of 16", a place for the band! amazing colours! lights of all spectrum! The best of the best !!! every nights were sold out!!

If you have a chance go and see productions of John Abbott College!! you ll maybe see me somewhere!!!

  • hah uhm...okay. it was a pretty damn good show at Tufts...it was sold out all 3 nights too :P

i live in boston so montreal would be a little far but would be fun if i was in the area

  • Kwakoie...looks like it was a great production, and not a MacProduction. It looks like you guys got it right! Cheers!

  • Uh..I don't think HAIR is about excellent costumes and big sets. Towers of 16"! Pshaw!

If the production and actors had the same mentality, the show could have only sucked, because you didn't understand the spirit of the show.

  • well tru but u cant just have good actors

sets and costumes are just as important if they werent ppl woulndt pay thousand to millons for them

  • I'm not so sure, the HAIR sets are pretty bare

  • yea but if ur goin to do it with some sort of backgroundthen do it all out

if ur goin to be simple then do nice and simple don't try to do it half way cuz then its looks messed up .

same with dancin dont try to half dance and half dont cuz then it looks stupid

  • I agree, dc93, go all out. My point was, though, in respect to redcorset01's post, that the spirit of the musical can't be conveyed in the size of the set or the colors of the lights, but in the sincerity and energy of the performance. That may be true of all performances, but especially of Hair.

  • that is extremely tru the set is important but u cant hide bad acting and performing with nice backgrounds amd good costumes

  • u definitely dont need sets/costumes. the content is what it's about...i'd rather see an extremely talented cast with no set than off-key singers with "thousands to million" dollar sets. y'know?

  • It sounds off-key in some parts

  • Love the song!

  • Checking out other stage versions of 'Hair', so far this ones the best, most colorful

  • Am I having a flashback or is this a tad 'out-of-sync'?

  • yeah its a couple seconds off

  • there is QUITE a bit of nudity in the stage production (i saw it in toronto,i live pretty close by)

  • where is this?, LOL! must be funny, i love the musical xD
