Ohh, god this was my favorite game like absolutely years ago! I say about seven years at this stage, and I'm fourteen now. Completed the game many times and I just couldn't get enough. This brings back so many distant memories. I love the intro too. It's amazing what they could do even back in 1998.

i get shivers every time I see this, like omg its a fking game intro!! If you didn't know that you could easily pass it for a short film. I'm so glad I have this game, every time I watch this it always amazes me how they did this for 1998. Just awesome.

tears came 2 my eyes watching this ....i remember playing it wen i was youngerand i loved the gae i remmber crying wen i cudnt best some parts of the game...then i lent the cd out ...nvr got it back =( but thx for uploading this man i really appreciate it brings back memories i love this game this and grand turismo are the foundation games for sony this is what sony is all abt thx again , damn im so sad now i love this game!!!

R4 was one of my favorite games of PS

in my opinion ridge racer type 4 was the best in the series if not the best racing game in it's genre from the gameplay to the awsome intelligent/jazzy drum n bass music it's just a shame that after 4 the series started to go downhill(R:racing evolution). now im not saying they haven't had any good ones afer 4 but hopfully they will look back on what made RR4 so great and apply it to a new ridge racer^_^
