That's weird. I mean when Light's father looked at Light, he saw how long he'll live on. I think the number was 9162639 or something and that's a long time. But as far as I know, Light died and it wasn't so much time passed as he died. And I mean the fate of a person is set at his birth, so fate should know that (sounds weird but It's the only way I can describe it now and sorry for the bad english XD)
