In my head I always though Tsunami waves were like really, really big. But in videos they do not look big however when they hit land they get pushed up... do you get what I mean?
This is Sandy Beach in Oahu, Hawaii. We used to bodysurf here every day after school and EVERY day lifeguards had to rescue stupid tourists who didn't understand NOT to stand near the water's edge until about 2 seconds before giant waves smashed them
That's no tsunami...that the surf spot 'cylinders'....the wave just to the right of the 'wedge' in newport beach, ca....heavy wave that breaks right on the sand often times...it's a sick wave!!
wow..how gay are you?..never surfed a day in your life you think that this is a tsunami TYPE wave?..in fact, 'tsunami type' doesn't mean anything to anybody that knows what they're talking about nor is it an 'expression' that anyone has ever used...and it's obviously low tide in the video so if you knew anything about tsunamis, or about the ocean in general, you'd know that they're accompanied by a tidal surge...on a final note, I wasn't even saying it in a condescending way..douche!

the only reason it jumped like that is because the water flowing back in to the ocean joined forces with the one crashing causing that lift.
