if you approach the toad in a focused meditative regard, speak to it from heart to heart, and ask if you may milk it, it will more than likely be a willing participant rather than a spooked out victim, at least this has been what I have witnessed. Also if you do, its probably wise to wear gloves, since the oils from your skin can affect the toads skin. Mind you can always do a grass extraction instead. :)

there are many plants that contain the same active entheogen (5-meo-dmt) as the bufo alvarius, not just grasses either. How wonderful, my mothers backyard is the creek in Arizona, about two months ago, the tadpoles were becoming frogs everywhere, and our two boys wanted so badly to keep them, we did for about a week and then took them back up to return them. They were so fun to watch them eat flies. Great video. Thanks for sharing!

My dog has chased these things since he was a puppy. Either he's immune or the toads he catches aren't secreting enough to hurt him. Still, I rescue as many as I can. About the princess -- that's a good one! I never thought about that but it makes perfect sense! LOL
