They're using an alpha build, but showing that it's possible on existing hardware. It's probably not yet available for public consumption, so you won't get this for a few months (or more).

ookay, but why mine cost "only" about 470€ 4 months ago? And these are not made to do same things so why this comparison? Btw. I hope they get Nokia's old reputation back (late 90's and early 21th century) with this machine cause so far it looks good... :)
Direct3D isn't really open source so it's hard to port to all platforms.. :P WebGL (based on OpenGL) is a free API.

well nokia n900 would be the best phone ever, well it cant be the best phone ever because it already is ;)
well multitouch would be a nice feature :) and add gorilla glass as the screen instead of regular glass :)

The N8 is the new symbian phone with without full flash and with a much lower res screen.
The succsessor to the n900 is probably going to be called the N9
