And no where to be found are instructions on enabling webGL on firefox/fennec for the n900. There are no webGL related options in about:config for this version.

They're using an alpha build, but showing that it's possible on existing hardware. It's probably not yet available for public consumption, so you won't get this for a few months (or more).

Why do u need a version? Cant you just get the phone and then decide what service provider and data packet you want?

He wants an "AT&T 3G version", meaning one that supports 3G on AT&T's network. The current US N900 only supports T-Mobile's 3G. You're stuck with EDGE on AT&T.

ookay, but why mine cost "only" about 470€ 4 months ago? And these are not made to do same things so why this comparison? Btw. I hope they get Nokia's old reputation back (late 90's and early 21th century) with this machine cause so far it looks good... :)

The N8 is the new symbian phone with without full flash and with a much lower res screen.

The succsessor to the n900 is probably going to be called the N9
