If you guys want it so sonic accelerates like in the real sonic games, the moving buttons same as the run buttons. So left is the same key as y, and right is the same key as x.

You know there is a ROM location listed in SMWCentral that allows you to have the run button held without hitting the key. I think theres one that allows more friction so Mario would start out slower and gain speed alittle less as fast as Mario's max run time too. This could help with making the physics like Sonic.

It looks good, you should try editing some of the backgrounds to fit sonic levels and maybe some of the baddies lol, make the luigi player tails or knuckles or something, and change the opening to super SONIC world or something what resembles super mario world with sonic in, even without all that this hack still looks pretty good, 5/5

Lunar magic I think is the program to edit SMW, but for the sonic sprites.. I can't remember the name. I needed to extract the textures from SMW and edit them in some program.

When he got a fire flower, he turned like a burned dark red color, and his shoes changed I want to say to white/yellow.

The feather gave him a cape, just like mario would have, but I was thinking if I could change it, but it has a lot of odd frames. :/

if you can why not change cape sonic into super sonic palet seeing as first cape was the strongest mario can get and super sonic is the strongest offical that sonic can get (hyper no longer exist it was just an easer egg in s&k3)
