  • unique meaning, no one else does this!

  • That's not unique and your not unique either:-P

  • If by "Unique" You mean done by someone who did absolutely no research, then you are correct.

  • Holy shit. Not only are there too many fish, that's a terrible mix of fish species. Do some research before you get a freshwater or saltwater. Not fair to the livestock.

  • lets test your knoledge visit my channel for the awnsers and questions 1) how big of a tank do comet goldfish need (per fish) A they only need a bowl (1gallon) B 20 gallons C 5 gallons 2) what fish go together well A south american ciclids with african ciclids B ciclids with anglefish C goldfish with carp 3) whats the best filter A you dont need a filter B aqueon power filter C fuval canister for more questions and awnsers go to my channel PS this person cant take care of fish
  • what is size of ur tank how many gallon it contain

  • @sohaib1087

    85 gallons

  • Its not the warmth of the tank that's going 2 hurt those goldfish it the ammonia that the goldfish make that will hurt ur angelfish and silver dollars

  • way way way to many fish!

  • The goldfish actually do well in that? Wow, I thought tropical aquarium would not be a good thing for them

  • WOW!SO MANY BIG FISHES.NICE AQUARIUM AND FISHES

    THE WWE NEXUS SUCKS

  • wow a lot fish in 1 tank, OMG, thx nice

  • Nice angelfish!!! Nice fish in general but especially the angels.

  • I love your fish! I've never been able to have a tank bigger than 55 galons, so i've never wanted to brave bigger species.

  • TOO MANY FISH in one tank and not good mix. Don't want to sound mean but I'd recommend a major change

  • @kentuckyhellfire

    Goldfish are gone now........

  • Anyone willing to keep fish in such terrible conditions shouldn't have them. In my opinion there should be restrictions on who can keep animals as pets.

  • @DESERVANT

Yeah, maybe we should have government animal police. I'll bet you probably are an "animal rights" supporter, right?

I imagine my fish, (most all of which from this video are presently alive and healthy), have outlived the vast majority of fish on Youtube.

  • @DESERVANT WOW! i thought i was the only one that felt that way. awesome! i used to manage a pet shop and 99% of people buy pets to appease other people knowing full well they care nothing for it's well being. :( should have to have a liscence! X)

  • your poor goldfish fins are very niped lol your tank is stupid and crap!

  • @wildnotmild1

Spoken from the son of his mom's forefathers.

    Have a nice day...."Mate"

  • @snotbog1

    your weirder then ur tank!

  • @snotbog1 no he's right you SHOULD NOT put goldfish with tropical fish because they produce a ton of ammonia... and the pacu needs a wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy bigger tank no matter what size you have unless its like 400 gallons which by the looks of it doesnt seem to be

  • @booboospike

Sounds like expert advice. One problem. Those aren't Pacus.

  • @snotbog1 i just read the description i didnt really watch the vid

  • your always saying your tanks are unique....but there not.

  • @FuzzieBuddies

You mind if I test you on this?

  • whats so unique about this?

  • The assortment of fish. One of a kind on Youtube.

  • No offense, but its a pretty inexperienced allotment of fish.

  • @AlexTubed

I had fish before you were walking this planet. At one time, I had 5 aquariums, the largest being a 100 gallon tank. How much experience do you have?

Because I've broken rules does not necessitate my not having "experience". Most of the fish seen in that 1998 clip are still alive and well, including the neons.

  • @snotbog1

Just because you have time and Long living fish. Does not constitute experience. From your stocking list it is clear than many are in the wrong numbers for groups, a swell as many species being in you water despite a few requiring much different water for example the Melanotaenia praecox requires much lower temps than your Kuhli Loach. A supposing you this tank is in fact your 100g the Royal plec would need a larger tank. Not saying its not horrible, just not practical.

  • @snotbog1 I also have been keeping fish in multiple tanks for 8 yrs. I am extremely knowledgeable in tropical fish, and Have been keeping discus for a few years with great success. And as of right now I have 4 tanks set up all with different parameters, the largest is 90 gallons

  • Alex, great man. Congrats.

I'm fully aware that these fish have different requirements. I did this as an experiment. For the most part, it's working out just fine.

I don't flip things up-side-down like many fish lovers do. The fish are there for me. Not vice versa. They're fish. I feed em' and keep the tank nice an' purdy. They're doing just fine.

    Here's an update: DQjTwjaFXww

    Thanks for your concern though..........

  • @AlexTubed wow who cares!

  • are black neon's or imperial???

  • @Krisdramaster

    black neons

  • Nice tank! How big is it? It looks like you might have too many fish in it.

  • 85 gallon

  • i like the one with the striped fins

  • Cute pleco's :)

  • I love those flag fish, I never did quite have the luck with them

  • I love it, outsmart the aquariums specialist people, by putting varieties together and having peaceful aquariums.

  • bless u

  • bless you as well

  • love fancy golds but i hav tropical aquarium :( and 4 fish died and im thinkin of getting a few bumblb goby or upside down catfish

  • do u know why they died??

  • nice 5/5

  • Nice tank! Not a big fan of your fish selection, but kudus for making it work, lol. If I had a tank that big I'd go all out with the cichlids.

  • Thanks. I took the golfish out so it looks a little better. I did the cichlid thing a few years ago. Cool fish for sure.

  • bit overstocked mate goldfish are not dirty no fish am unless they get infected with something

  • Goldfish now have their own tank.

  • what size is it??

  • 85 gall

  • thats ur goldfish tank or this tank in the vid

  • This is an old clip when I had my goldfish in my tank. I later removed them.

  • what size tank are the goldfish in now?

  • I put them in a 20 gallon but one died of over feeding (my bad) and the other from disease when I introduced some new fish.

  • don't u qt ur fish?

  • qt?

  • quarantine

  • I don't have the space but you're right, I should.

  • i would get room...if u don't then u can lose many fish and lose money

  • LoL These fish were all purchased when I set up the tank in 2007. I wish I had ten dollars for every time I heard that.

They're almost all alive and well today.

  • goldfish get big

Big fish = lots of waste

  • see above

  • I hate goldfish...

  • and corvettes as well?

  • dont hate em.

my name is referring to the shelby cobras.

they are considered the anti-christ to the corvette enthusiasts(hints 666),and corvette killer was the tittle given to it back in the sixties.

id rather spend the money on two mustangs than one corvette z06 honestly.

  • I see.

You might be happy to know that I removed the goldfish.

I also torture them every day.

    (kidding)

  • thats very nice but are you sure your ghost shrimp can actually survive in that tank? lol

  • have been for almost 2 years

  • its the petco mix...

  • hardly

don't see too many flagtails, black-bars, silver distichodus and royal plecs at Petco. Nice try.

the goldfish are no longer in the tank, by the way

  • Gold fish are dirty...

  • that's cool, a lot of fish, i wouldn't say crowded though. how big is the tank?

  • 85 gallons

    yeah, it's crowded

  • do u think i have a unique tank- 1 Silver Hatchet fish, 1 Dragon Eel, 1 assorted veil angelfish, 1 unknown angelfish, 1 unknown Leaf fish, 1 pearl gourami,1 striped raphael catfish, 1 Red Zebra Danio, 2 Zebra Danios, 1 leopard veiltail danio. I have 2 painted glass fish now i know not to get them again.

  • sounds like a cool tank

Why don't you post some clips??

  • Yeah I was planning too. Unfortonetly my unknown angelfish, unknown leaf fish, and painted glass fish all have died. I am getting more fish. Some of them include Sterba's Cory and Royal Bumblebee Goby's. Mayba a few more. I will have a clip in a few weeks when I have the max for fish.

  • I know it is a little overcrowded, but your fish are still beautiful :)

  • thank you

  • that tank looks crouded and the fish are not compatible.

angels should have a seperate aquarium

goldfish should have a seperate aquarium

  • I agree on the goldfish and have removed them. Not true about angelfish. They do fine in a community aquarium.

Yes, the tank is overcrowded which has mainly to do with the extreme low mortality rate. (I've lost one tiny fish in almost a year.) I have not purchased any fish since I set up this tank in 07. The fish are extremely large now and very healthy. Most sizes are past what books list as max growth and their colors are extremely good as well. Check out some of my recent vids.

  • tank size?

  • 85 gal

  • what temp is your cold water tank at?

  • room temp

Depending on how warm the room gets, usually between 67-73.

  • haha who's sneezing?

isnt that red head fish cold water? i have one of those. could i add him to my tropical?

  • I wouldn't. I removed mine.

  • Really nice! I thought too that it looked a bit overcrowded and haha I know how tempting it is just to add one more fish to our collection! Another one... and.. overcrowded lol.

    Very beautiful :)

  • Thankyou.

You're right on the overcrowded thing. I bought all these fish in the first couple of months of the tank set-up ack in Dec '07 and have not purchased any since. I still have a crowded tank!!!

  • what kind of fish is the fish with the red and black/ yellow and black striped tail at 2:17 in the video?

  • Flagtail (Semaprochilodus taeniurus)

  • What is the carp looking fish with the red hat called?

  • Fancy Goldfish (Carassius auratus)

  • Yes unique for sure also overcrowded, although they all look happy i would still think about either moving some of the fish to another residence or getting a bigger tank to house them ;)

  • I've already moved the coldwater fish to another tank. Thanks

  • Thats a good idea. Those poor fancies are looking a bit roughed up. I thought your tank was a bit overcrowded too, but i know how easily that can happen... fish dont stay small for long! I like the overall looks of the tank and the fish. Its not too cluttered and the fish seem happy to have alot of swimming space. Im glad you moved the coldwater fish. Too many people mix them with tropicals and its usually with disasterous results.

  • Thanks

yeah, tank is better now. Most all fish still alive, including the gobys, neons, and ghost shrimp believe it or not.

  • What happens when you mix the tropical with coldwater?

  • Not recommended but possible. Different requirements and really should not be mixed. I now have my coldwater fish in a seperate tank.

  • Are they still alive??

  • For the most part, yes. We've lost of few small fish but most are still alive as well as all of our larger fish. The only casualties have been the gobies (4 left) and a couple of hillstream loaches. All the other small fish are doing great. I'd say there's still about a half dozen ghost shrimp left. One of my 5 plecos died. He started eating from the top so maybe that had something to do with it. I'd say about 90% of the fish I started with a year ago when I set up the tank are alive and well.

  • 85 and yes, overcrowded.

But 'em tiny and they just kept growing. Figure more would die off as they grew but the mortality rate has been minimal. Hence the overcrowding.

  • wow......

    thats a ton of fish....

    tank size?

seems a bit over crowded O_O, but they seem happy :D
