Vassar Clements passed away on 16 August 1995; exactly one week after Garcia passed on Wednesday 09 August 1995;.. RIP JG & VC; I mis seeing them play live but i appreciate y'all posting gems like this live show!!! Thanx a million!!!

@dadzbluz No, Vassar died in 2005, 10 years after Jerry. Anyway the reunion never be available... Thanks for posting and for this great performance!

A couple of my best ol' buddies; JG and VC... I loved this band and saw them every chance I got. After one gig when my frien John Paul's 1950 Chevy wouldn't start Vasser helped us push it to get it started... What a great guy. The last thing Vassar said to me was, "Hey y'all, let's get together next time I',m in town and jam!" Amen to that Vassar!!! He played with everyone and was ALWAYS the cconsumate musician.

@thegunnydog You can download it from right here~ download and install download helper... when the bubbles spin, click the arrow, put your mouse over Old_In The Way (Live) July 23rd, 1973.flv in the next menu click download. To play it I'd recommend VLC media player, it plays every kind of file and it's also free.

...so this goes for any stream you want to download, like if you want say a soundboard of a dead show from archive.org..... Hope this is helpful ;o)
