Definitely Cannonball. For one thing, it's an alto, not tenor, sax. For another, it sounds like pretty much every other great Cannonball solo.

Absolutly one of the best jazz recordings ever. Grate bass intro. Is that Chambers holding down the bottom? Too bad this is an edited version of this alltime classic. I also love the Gene Ammons/ Sonny Stitt interpitation of this tune. It just doesn't get any better than Cannonball & Miles

But why is the intro missing? Did you edit it off? Or is this track from a different release where the intro was removed?

solo is 16 bars short, then Hank Jones´s beautiful solo then melody taken by Miles and

finished by Hank playing rubato and then

intro vamp again w. Hank and Miles ad libing
