@TheEndSkyress silver is artifact, each color interacts with them differently. green usually wants to destroy artifacts so it typiclly wouldnt be a good starting deck
green white decks actually work fairly well. white has a huge aresenal of low cost powerful creatures, like elite vanguard and really good spells to deal with your oponents creatures, like path to exile and pacifism. Green has some big huge creatures to use later in the game to stomp out your opponent like kalonian behemoth or the new card terra stomper who cant be countered and is an 8/8 trampler for 3 green mana and 3 colorless mana (converted mana cost 6)!!

i think that yu gi oh is better than magic and gathering because it has more simple rules and its not so hard to bring creatures it doesnt has to have mana to be a cool game i am a master at yu gi oh and i like it very much :)
Mana burn works this way: When you tap lands, you actually add the mana to your mana pool. When playing spells you pay with the mana in your mana pool. When you end your turn, you get 1 point of damage for each point of unused mana in your mana pool. Example: If you tap 2 islands (add 2 blue mana to mana pool) and play Sleight of Hand (cost 1 blue mana) and end your turn, you'll suffer 1 point of damage for the unused blue mana point.
MORE COMPLICATED? I played Yu-Gi-Oh for 5 years, DO NOT KID ME! Yu-Gi-Oh has a chain system, with more ruling complications than magic will ever dream of having, I play magic because it is rather simple, and it is VERY fun, if you enjoy abusing rulings to stack this, then play Yu-Gi-Oh, if you play to play, magic might be the best option.
I guess we both have the same outlook on 2 different games, and btw, when you are making 2 hour long arguments on whether solemn judgment's cost is damage, just because some newbie activated barrel behind the door, and whether MST negates, because it destroys, or if a chain is really just 3 chains or six, then, we have complications. But, you probably never delved deep into Yu-Gi-Oh as I have, and I probably never delved deep into magic as have you, also, what is bad about simple? 0-o
Sadly, age is because look at magic's angels, etc, and then look at yu-gi-oh's, then you will figure out age limits. And same for you, I have seen competitive magic, and I don't feel it is close to Yu-Gi-Oh . To put it into context, other than instants, ALL spells (creatures, sorceries, enchantments, auras, and artifacts) can ONLY be played during your main phase unless otherwise stated. Instants can be played at all times (main phase, combat, opponent's turn)

Yes. There's some cards that have abilities that will allow you to gain more mana, but lands all stay together in their own area.

when i just started playing i didnt know the difference between mana and land and this sure wouldnt help any beginer.
you tap the LAND to add the MANA into your mana pool.

MORE COMPLICATED? I played Yu-Gi-Oh for 5 years, DO NOT KID ME! Yu-Gi-Oh has a chain system, with more ruling complications than magic will ever dream of having, I play magic because it is rather simple, and it is VERY fun, if you enjoy abusing rulings to stack this, then play Yu-Gi-Oh, if you play to play, magic might be the best option.

I guess we both have the same outlook on 2 different games, and btw, when you are making 2 hour long arguments on whether solemn judgment's cost is damage, just because some newbie activated barrel behind the door, and whether MST negates, because it destroys, or if a chain is really just 3 chains or six, then, we have complications. But, you probably never delved deep into Yu-Gi-Oh as I have, and I probably never delved deep into magic as have you, also, what is bad about simple? 0-o

i play magic competetively for about 2 years and i got 9th(didnt top 8 cause of damn tie breakers) place in my last nationals.
there is nothing wrong with simple,simple is good,im just saying that yu gi ohs overall gameplay is much much more simple than magics.
im talking about competetive level of course,ive seen yu gi oh competetive decks and matches between tier 1 decks,and its not even close to magic.
just look at the age range
the age for yugioh is 6+
while for magic its 13+

Sadly, age is because look at magic's angels, etc, and then look at yu-gi-oh's, then you will figure out age limits. And same for you, I have seen competitive magic, and I don't feel it is close to Yu-Gi-Oh . But arguing about the arguable 2 best TCGs in North America isn't doing jack shit, and the Johnny in my wants to make combos with the Timmy inside of me :D.

Try buying a full deck, the ones that are made from the beginning for starters, those have quite alot of land in them.

Well you only get one land from boosters... If you want lands you gotta get a tournament pack and I recommend to buy a starter deck first.

does "Enchant Creature" count as a"Enchantment", i mean, i have a card that makes me draw a card whenever i play a enchantment, but thats the only enchantment i have, i do have lots of "Enchant Creature" however, do those count as enchantments for my cards effect?

sorcery is used on the users turn for the fee they can provide anything the card says this happens when you use the card.
ex. Stream of life can be used to heal your points by the number of land cards you have out on the field.

To put it into context, other than instants, ALL spells (creatures, sorceries, enchantments, auras, and artifacts) can ONLY be played during your main phase unless otherwise stated. Instants can be played at all times (main phase, combat, opponent's turn)

As long as you have the ability to pay for the cost of the spell with the required mana, you can put anything you want in your deck.

yugiohs waaay better than this game i mean people say mtg came out years ago no it was released in 2006 i believe its a knockoff of yugioh and pokemon came out in 1996 i believe it was the same year yugioh was releashed ^_^ ash catchum yugi moutou and yugiohs the better card game i know i have played mtg for 2 years now
