its definatley not super slinkys then because super slinkys are 9s lol and they come in pink and the regular which are 10s and what i use are in the bright lime green

yes only from a tube amp. You cannot recreate the the sound of tube circuitry without a tube amp. so if you really want that sound go buy a tube amp. check out my jcm8002210. The 2203's are actually better when turned up.  Even the Jubillee 2555's are great if ya have the $.

ohh that coiled cable was the wiring going to my headphones so i could hear the drums without any sound going to my mic. I just have it tucked under my strap because it kept getting in the way of my arm

dude it a big different in the sound then the other slash models in a good way i play the slash usa goldtop and the slash usa sunburst i rather have the goldtop because the custom slash tone circiut has his perfect tone that im looking for but that my oppion so there you have it

The Goldtop is punchier and has a broader bass tone when you roll the tone knob all the way back. The tobacco burst is warmer with a heavier rock tone. They both are heavy dont get me wrong. Listen to sweet child o mine as compared to welcome to jungle

so does the goldtop sounds good if you play Sweet Child O' Mine? On the Gibson website Slash say's that he used the goldtop on songs like November Rain, Estranged, Knockin on heavens dor and Sweet Child O mine

yes its perfect for those songs,because the bass response is greater with the pickups, thats why he used it with those songs. he also used it on songs like yesterdays. But for knocking on heavens door I always see him use the black double neck, maybe in one of his earlier shows he used the goldtop i think.

that guitar is like getting a gold top in the time of the 80s its not an 08 Standard (but 08s r gewd.)

i dont really like the new 08' standards, the quality is pretty bad compared to les pauls before 85' and the new necks i really dont like. the only thing i like are the bursts but thats not very important to sound
