  • vetec just kicked in bro....oh wait...

  • careful, you might drop a valve doing that :)

  • @needleonthevinyl rofl, your the worst fail troll ever!

  • @needleonthevinyl Valve? Cant find them on rotary engines bud.

  • And with all of the torque of my electric razor

  • @flahr1 Take your electric razor and shove it up your ass !!!!

  • @versus4582 That has been done already. He doesnt have a dyno for actual torque figures, but he knows how much torque the razor has by the seat of his pants. ROFL!!

  • that fact that he shifted at 164 mph should say aomething

  • @x702xFALx it's KMH...

  • Dam i didn't know an RX8 could pull that hard to redline

  • @billythekid562 it's KMH..80MPH

  • Cant remember where I read this but is the rev limit more because of the tranny in these cars?

  • What modds did you do on this car?

  • ZOOM-FUCKIN'-ZOOM BABY!!

    ROTARY4EVER!!!

  • have you changed your fuel pump, my dad had a fc3s and the fuel pump would cut out at 7.5k?

  • Its jus spining rpms for no reason it quits makin power at 9k

  • ITS OVER 9000!!

  • a redline a day keeps the carbon away

  • you got n2 mods?

  • lol, i had to re watch this a few times, i could have sword the speed readout said MPH on it, i was like O.O holy shit! im selling my vette and buying an rx-8, fuck this shit. then i noticed it was kp/h, still a very quick car, im just kinda sad now is all :(

  • Wow! Is this RX8 NA? What mods does he have? I have a COBB AccessPort, but how do I get my car to accelerate like that?

  • No big deal here. The S2000 was casually spinning 10k 10years ago with full warranty. Motorcycle engines spin a lot higher than this and almost never come apart.

  • @twostrokeornill1 The S2k was never spinning at 10000 rpm !!! The s2k spins at 9000 and always have been spinning at that certain rpm !!! We are talking about vehicle engines here. Not motorcycle engines.Thats a whole different story. The rennie is a piece of engineering art and if you cant accept that, you cant make arguments that just are unbiased to make the rennie seem less cool ....

  • @versus4582 yeah well said

  • @versus4582 And keep redlining like this and you will have to buy a new engine very soon. Btw without the limiter you could hit 10k rpm in an S2000 too. You could even hit it with a GTI. But you would destroy every engine with that. So please shift before you hit the redline next time. There is a reason why it's called redline.

  • @Saki2407 Please let me worry about my engine !! Stop being a hater !!! You know shit about rotaries and the rx8 !! Spare me the tech infoist wannabe !!! Just go away please ...

  • @versus4582 i like that beep ! is like the beep you hear when you go into a convenience store it makes you feel welcome.! it says come in please! keep going! jjajaa sounds amazing bro

  • @versus4582 just a heads up look into full function engineering! they have a bad ass trigger setup with very hot coils. also they can get you the best injectors on the market from injector dynamics. they also clearance, balance, and port motors. they have everything for a rotary.

  • @versus4582 A redline a day keeps a rotary okay! Not many people know that you ARE supposed to redline a rotary engine because this will keep carbon from build up in the engine. Rotary ftw and I love the sound of 10 grand man!!!

  • @FyreFox94 You just got a positive vote for your comment !!! ;)

  • @versus4582 lol thanks bro, RX7 is my dream car, however since they are so uncommon the RX8 is something I am always keeping my eye out for haha. 13b wankel screams. friend of a friend of mine has a turbo kit on an rx8 and I didn't believe it but when he's out on the highway and does some pulls it belches flames out of the muffler! rotaries ftw man ha! and fuck the haters man, at least you have a beast to be proud of, when no one else has shit to back their comments up.

  • @FyreFox94 Now this is another positive vote for another great post !!! Thanx dude ;)

  • @Saki2407 Rotaries can spin to 14k but you need the ignition to handle it, stock ignition will not get you there. As long as he doesn't lose ignition he can rev to 10k all day long.

  • @versus4582 ya stock, this rx8 wont pull 10k either. a s2k wont either but tuned any import with a small high rev motor can

  • @twostrokeornill1 F22 Powa!

  • Are these motors cast iron? or Alluminum?

  • @ghostdriverFJ60 Casing is Aluminum, the rotors themselves are iron.

  • Doesn't it rape the engine when the rpm goes that high? because it's originally not designed for

  • This rotary engine produces peak power at about 10500 RPM ! No need to push it further.

  • @expertmax1 Damn thing only goes up to 10k so where u gettin this 10.5k at?

  • @AfghanBluegrass Shop manuals and personal knowledge, if the engine could rev at 10.5k, it would be useless to rev it further. Welcome to rotary engines.

  • @versus4582 1,3lt turbo rotor engine 192bhp. Well yea thats true but this engine is already on its limit and probably wont last for too long. Now Audi-VW Group they manage to create an 1,4lt turbo-kompressor engine with 185bhp alright? We expecting something new from Mazda soon cause this technology is old. I mean Opel did it 210bhp on 1,6lt! So come on!

  • @tsontaboy Wo said it's turbo ??? No rx8 comes out of the factory turboed !!! Also 192 is the low power edition !!The one in the video is the high power JDM version with 240+ bhp !!! So please educate yourself better before posting bullshit !!!

  • @versus4582 have you changed the oil bomb? to my knowledge you wouldn't have any engine problem

  • @luixim11 Oil Bomb??? Last time i checked my car was not a kamikaze Rx8 !!!! WTF is wrong with some people ???

  • @versus4582 lol well said. ur always gonna have haters on youtube haha

  • @tsontaboy japs are alwys been more efficient than germans, just look at the lancer evo fq400 its have 400 hp from 2.0 engine

  • Versus4582 what kind of power those your rx8 produce at 10,000RPM.

  • I take a fully alluminum 26B rotary over any piston engine every day 26B-V12/V8/V16.

  • wankel-tec just kicked in yo

  • @horsetranq13 i wish i could like this comment twice

  • Why are my neighbors using their grass trimmer when its snowing? Oh wait, that's the car.

  • i love all these people that trash talk an engine they know nothing about... 90% of the people who have problems with this engine, simply treated it like it was a piston engine and didnt maintain or treat it properly... yes.. rotary engines are a bit fussy.. theyre very specific about things.. but if you educate yourself on the engine when you own one, you can enjoy the benefits of them to a great extent, and they can handle things like 10,000 rpm runs all fuckin day!

  • i love the people saying this will blow it... no this is how they are built to be drivin, i work for mazda... if you baby the rx-8 you will need a new motor soon, drove it like this, it will last forever...

  • wtf with my rx8 .. i can only go to 9 rpm .. and im to 64km/h and you 10 000 rpm with 72 on the first how you do that plz

  • @StraaightRider

cobb tuned. please read/research before asking simple questions.

  • @jacksean why searching ? why dont we just talk about that simply ? lol wtf

  • @jacksean Exactly !!! Thank god some people can still read the vids info !!!! Thanx man ..

  • @StraaightRider there's more than one model... if your rev limiter tops at 9k that you have 192, but if it tops out at 10k you've got 231hp rx8

  • @StraaightRider You must have an automatic.

  • is this engine modded to be able to go to 10,000rpm or just pushing it?

  • @lotharzipo The engine's ports are stock !!No porting or whatsoever. The car now has every bolt on you can find for the Rx8 ... 3 inch Racing Beat Header,3 inch Racing Beat Cat Pipe and 3 inch Fujitsubo Legalis R Exhaust. Also AEM cold air intake, ACT prolite Flywheel, ignition cables, all 3 lightened pullies,Re Medy Thermostat,Cobb tuned ecu ...All these contribute for a smoother higher redline !!!

  • @versus4582 last i checked turbo is a bolt on and you dont have one

  • @beyond305 Did you see me anywhere saying that my car is a turbo one???? Did you?? Huh??

If you did, please show it to me as well !!! Wtf is wrong with some of you guys ....

  • @versus4582 no you didnt say it was turbo, you said YOU HAVE EVERY BOLT ON MOD MADE FOR YOU CAR. turbo is a bolt on mod you fucking moron

  • @beyond305 A turbocharger might as well be o bolt -on KIT or a custom one,but that doesn't make it a bolt on NA upgrade you dickhead.A turbocharger changes the whole aspiration and character of an engine and it is common sense to all except you, that when someone is refering to bolt on upgrades ,is indeed referring to NA MODS!!! And you dont seem to recognize a NA car from a TURBO cause if u did you wouldntt be making that foolish statement !!! You are blocked anyway Go shit somewhere else

  • 1. The RX-8 IS known for tranny issues... IN THE AUTOMATIC! The manual tranny could easily take 20k revvs if you had a clutch that could hack it... 10k revvs won't hurt the tranny, or even a stock clutch in any way (its torque that eats away at a clutch, well, the combo of torque and revvs, but the rotary doesn't produce enough torque to offset an extra 600 RPMs)

    2. Many people are saying that the engine's lifespan will be decreased due to it warring more/faster... lets remember that the...

  • killer of the rotary engine is HydroCarbonS building up in the combustion chamber and scraping away at the apex seals, in other words if you floor it and hold it at the redline, it CAN'T build up those HC's and therefore it becomes a PERFECT engine... well, with the exception of the economy.

    Two expls to prove..

    1. Its an airplane engine right? in the air reving at 7500RPMs+ and lasting for decades

    2. My rx that has 500k miles on it that i drive like i stole every time i drive it.... just sayin

  • that thing revs like a crotch rocket

  • loved my rx8 but sucked way to much in petro.... I just decided to get a z.

  • That can't be good for it.

  • @detaart It's really not that bad at all. The only thing really being affected, given the owner practices proper maintenance, would be the transmission, and the gas tank. Rotaries can handle a lot, lot of abuse if you maintain them properly.

  • @SYSPLUCK Wouldn't things like the apex seals suffer? I've heard about the transmisison being an issue in the RX8s. It might be able to handle it for now, but it's lifespan will be considerably shortened ... as is expected of course.

  • @detaart Yeah, no it's a little hard on the apex seals but honestly it's really not that bad. Compaired to a piston engine, if you did that, cruised at 6k rpm ALL day, and ramped it up to 9-10K when you wanted to have some fun, you'd DESTROY the engine extremely quickly. If one of my apex seals went, it'd take me and a friend a long afternoon to pull the rotary motor and rebuild it.

  • @SYSPLUCK I can see you know rotaries quite well. I just assumed you just took the limiter off it in the map and that was that. Yeah rotaries can handle a lot. Revving them high isn't abuse in the traditional sense. Not in the sense of what it would do to a piston engine. It's important to keep an eye on the oil though because it will shear at these speeds. Motorcycle oil would be good, but use motorcycle oil for bikes with dry clutches. The wet clutch bike oil has stuff in it for the clutch.

  • @detaart Beware: things like harleys also come with dry clutches :)

Ask some ducati guys about their oils.

  • 0:14 = VTEC kick xD

  • @ImportDriftsJDM Fail.

  • i have friends that they are disapointed from rotor engines and they had problems at 100.000-120.000km i see that with my own eyes. So when im saying something i do because i know the facts. Now if you dont like it and react like that seems that you have taken some comments about RX8 engine similar with mine. That not random i guess. Greetings. :)

  • 10krpm and beyond man that's amazing rotaries are made to rev hahah vtec try but cant renesis nation!

  • wow!!!whatabout the rev limiter???i thought it was at 9000....

  • lol and you change engine in 80.000 km or so

  • @MrAstraGT Stop lauhing like a faggot because i am already at 80000 km and still running strong. And next time read the vids info where it says ''ALL STUPID,HATING,IGNORANT AND FOOLISH COMMENTS WILL BE DELETED AND THE USERS POSTING THEM,BLOCKED.SO PLEASE DONT BOTHER.IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT THE VIDEO IN AN APPROPRIATE MANNER,GO AHEAD.IF NOT JUST DONT''

  • @versus4582

I do believe that was a joke, sir.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrAstraGT

RX8->165000km with original engine and still going strong today. Oil change with every 8000km and no problems at all. I`ve allways used semisynthetic 5w30 only

  • Excellent Vid or the COBB tuner, now how does the transmission stack up to that extra increase? Did you change your flywheel or clutch yet? I am just wondering as I have been toying with that access port for a while. Currently I am running an Intake and in a week a mid/test pipe. Other than that it's mostly stock, do you have any thing on paper to show a gain? Thanks for any input.

  • @311ZeroCool The transmission is not a problem for a +600 rpm increase.Transmission might be a problem if you go some thousand rpm over the 9000 limit. Yes i have n Act clutch and flywheel combo,as well with catless 76mm exhaust and headers. Also an AEM Cold Air Intake,Accessport, Pullies and many more ...

  • @Dnaracer01 way faster?..man its a drivers race..both cars need modifications to have any real power..there are both great cars but dont forget rx8 are 150 kg heavier..i recently raced an s2000 from second gears to four gear and sk was a bit faster..so dont give me that bs..there are also video on you tube of rx8 going side by side with s2000..and i am not a teenager dickhead..

  • lol...it doesn't have to rev that higher if it got an enough torque....just go double on torque on you will save double rev at the same power.....lol..by the way great engine

    ....

  • Man, I love rotarys!

  • i feel bad for your seals

  • mine stops at 9,5 with a buzz )

  • consider you engine is fucked up !!

  • 壊れますよw

  • After 3years with my 2004 rx, i don't miss the petrol bills, but i miss them 9rpms every now & then, which only a rx8 owner will know, 10.000 rpms i'd be in tears, miss getting that backend out when road is slightly damp & traction control puts it right for you, & take traction off whole lot of fun, rear wheel drive, it's the future. lol

  • i think its a lovely job done on the car. Haters are gonna hate when they see a car like that then they look outside and see there pile of shit on there drive. Thumbs up.

  • No shit.....Higher RPMs, higher car performance ????? However you forgot to mention that you will also have the rotor replaced a lot sooner than you would with the stock limiter....

  • Never been a fan of Rotarys. But seriously, it is impressive how high they can rev up.

  • i didn't know you could use the cobb accessport with EU mazda. are you in the UK.

  • Nice gear shifting !! Perfect RPM !! xD

  • What is your whp, 230? Sounds good!

  • So what is actually spinning at 10k rpm? Are the rotors going that fast or is the output shaft? I know the output shaft spins 3 times each time the rotors go around but haven't ever figured out which is actually being measured.

  • @94XJ it is the output shaft, rotors them selves are spinning 1/3 as quick, or 3,333rpm in this case

  • is it an r3 just wondering

  • @ShowAlmosteverything No it's not ...It's a 2003 JDM Type S Rx8 ... ;)

  • now theres a guy who aint afraid of a little red-lineing well done ;)

  • this engine should be death...

  • my friend has an rx8! we always give him a hard time about being a weed wacker but its all fun and games they are really good engineered cars.. but nice tuning!!:)

  • 20 ft lbs torque at 10000 rpm

  • @halflifemasta You say that because your big fat ugly Fairlady can't go past 6500 rpm like a lawnmower it is !!!

Rx8's are all about balance, handling, looks and precision things that your fat Z don't know or even heard of!!! So please spare me the tech info aout rotaries and go sail in your Z boat !!! (like a U boat if u catch my drift )

  • @versus4582 im fine with my 398 tq now scram

  • @halflifemasta in what? need for speed

  • @versus4582 when was the last time you saw a z flood its motor? i wouldnt be so snarky coming from a car company that had to replace tons of motors w/ under 50k on them, and buy back peoples cars because they inflated the already ridiuclously low numbers the rx8 put out. the renesis 13b is a garbage motor put in a pretty car. nothing more.

  • @DTFclothing Ignorant owners make engines look bad ... When owning a rotary you should konow the basics of maintaining it correctly !! If not then it's not the engines fault if it breaks down ... The Renesis is a garbage motor??? Then the 26 international awards it won are all garbage??? All those people awarded it are garbage?? You are the one being snarky right now!!! the renesis motor is 1.3 liter producing around 180 bhp per liter !!! thats an awesome thing by its own...

  • @versus4582 very good answer.

  • @versus4582 penis

  • @versus4582 really/ because i know tons of owners that flooded their engines, mazda bought back cars, replaced motors, etc. not an impressive motor at all. nor is the fact that you cant aggressively port the renesis because the water jackets are so damn close. theres a reason rx8 guys looking for power ditch the renesis and go different routes. it barely works in stock trim, and definitely doesnt like ay sort of forced induction.

  • @versus4582 The only reason it's considered as 1.3l is because Rotor based engine can't be measured the same way as normal engines....That doesn't mean its 1.3l.....And that's why in many countries they judge cars based on engine output and not type...

  • @NikKast1981 find me a such a small engine that can produce 230+ hp crank power and then talk again..

  • @sonic8002 Can you read ? It's NOT a small engine, it's a DIFFERENT type of engine....Can you understand ? Helloooooooooooo........

  • @NikKast1981 i know that man you are stupid.. rx8 are not slow..just heavy bevause they are supposed to be luxury car with decent power.. all those people who talk trash abou the car are gay and dont understand that a small engine like rotary can produce horsepower equal to a v6 engine..

  • @sonic8002 RX8 a Luxury car ? How old are you, 16 ? Hahahahaha, damn and you call me stupid ?

As for speed you haven't driven many cars in your life, if you have at all so i can excuse your ignorance.

  • @NikKast1981 man have you ever drive an rx8 ? or have you ever drive a car ? i am 22 and i own an rx8 and its great..grat handling, smooth drive and engine sound, great interior and design and decent power for a four door car for n/a .. if you dont like it dont watch the video but dont tell bs about a car you havent probablly driven..ignorant...raced a stock s2000 and we were almost equal..does that mean s2000 are garbage too?? hp isnt the most important thing in a car..

  • @sonic8002 You have a long way to go before you can match the cars i've driven so don't speak if you don't know the other person. And yes RX8's are slow, even the RX7 i had back in 99 was a lot faster but back then you'd be like 10 years old so you wouldn't know. As for going up the S2000 although i don't consider it as "fast" (not stock) it's still faster than an RX8.

  • @NikKast1981 i ve never said rx8 stock have great acceleration but have decent power for their kg and hp and a great car overall..i just hate peple talking trash about a car that probably never driven before and telling bs..whats the matter with you guys..you all hating the guy who uploaded a video of his rx8 which has very good power for its n/a mods..whats your problem..dont like the video dont see it but dont talk trash

  • @sonic8002 Personally i don't hate him, i just think he is a moron for pushing his RPM so high to gain....Almost nothing....Not to mention that he is damaging a car which is not that great in terms of damage even at stock.

  • @NikKast1981 Can you please shut the fuck up ??? Before calling me things since you dont even know me?? You and people like you are the reason that every good or informative video turns out to be a hater spot for stupid people like your self to just flame and insult everybody. So spare us your unbiased, hater, childish, foolish, arrogant, ignorant comments !!! Loser ....

  • @NikKast1981 whats your problem if he is pushing his rpm so high? he knows his car better than anyone and he must have a reason pushing it that high so stop being a hater ..

  • @sonic8002 Great to have comments with some basic reasoning behind them like this one !!!

  • @versus4582 People begin to talk trash knowing nothing about the engines history. Consider the fact that Mazda has been the only car manufacturer developing the engine in their car for many years... While everybody else was supporting the piston engine. However if you were to compare the 13B to a piston engine it would be roughly equivalent to a 4 cylinder 2.6L engine. Honestly, Rotaries have so many benefits over the piston, sadly oil and fuel consumption being the downfall.

  • @versus4582 and 2L 4 bangers do 300 to the wheels at 9k when they can breathe, whoopdeedoo

  • @versus4582 sorry man as much as id hate to disagree with you imo ging to have to on this one. i bought an 04 rx8 20k on it for 15g's. i educated myself on rotaries before buying it. warming it up, revving and turning it off, no short trips, red lining regularyl, checking oil, checking temp etc all that bs. in the end my babying the 8 ddnt pay off it shat a brick and died (flooding or cracked seal) as soon as i fot it replaced under warranty i traded it in for an s2k. now me happy

  • @19danflo Its ok to disagree !! Thats the point of commenting anyway and people like you being polite are waht make a dissagreement beautiful ....

Now,as far as a damaged engine goes,no one said that if you do all the maintenance correctly it will never break !!! You are just reducing the risk of that failure happening !!There are factors that you as an owner can't control, and those factors can result in engine failure at the end. This applies for all type of engines and not only rotaries ;)

  • @versus4582 perhaps you're right and i just had bad luck but i hear about so many of these cases with the rx8's that make me think the problem is mostly mazda's fault and that renesis 13b isnt as reliable as a regular piston engine anyways it's good to have a good argument once in a while on unlike with most of the flaming idiots and trolls on youtube

  • @19danflo Couldn't agree more on the last one you said !!! ;) As far as reliability goes with the renny,at least my experience so far has proven it bulletproof !! The engine had 'suffered' track use, drag use, donut use, increased rpm use, whatever use you can imagine or whatsoever and is proving the low reliability theories wrong day by day !!Maybe i am just lucky??? I think that is all like a domino reaction. If all the bits are up to par then nothing should go wrong ...

  • @19danflo You said it was on 04 RX8, was it an Auto or Manual; not to be ignorant or claim you did anything wrong, but I've not heard or seen any manuals around my part with those issues. I know a few guys with autos on the 2 or 3rd motor at 58k, due to the 4 ports instead of 6 (carbon build up in the motor issue). Rotary's seem to work better with manual transmissions (I believe). The S2k is one of my other favorite cars so good choice. Still the RX8 is a great platform to build on.

  • @311ZeroCool it was a 6 speed. car had lots of problems before. bt one day i was driving home thnxgvng break from college suddenly revs dropped and i had no power pulled to the side and had it towed to the local mazda dealer (80 miles away). told me the apex seals were blown and it was under warranty as soon as i got the new engine i traded it in. i love high revving engines so naturally i went for the s2000 not as comfortable but just as a reliable as my old 89 accord.

  • @versus4582

rx8 is crap, I have driven one on my own, no tourque and no power. only rx8 or rx7 with turbo, or 3 or 4 rotor powered machines are great to drive. On way home from the testdrive my Father overtook me on the german autobahn in a 150Hp Diesel Audi A4. Why? Because the Mazda RX8 is slow! Handling was good and cornering, breaking, the look... but where the heck was the power? Now I drive A Scooby Wrx, Revs over 7k, no Problem, Power and tourqe = no problem, cornering, excellent :D

  • @Dnaracer01 u talk bs..an audi 150 hp overtake the rx8? and how the hell i ran over a golf gti ? u r a retarded..no offending..dont talk bs for the rotary engine..

  • @sonic8002

The Renesis Engine is a big Fail in automotive engineering. nice try, nice concept, but a Fail Engine. Ever drove a car with a bit power? The 230hp from the 1.3litre rotary feels like 130hp from a 2litre 4-cyl car. and when the rotary is producin power (between 7000 and 9000 rpm) there is this nasty "beeeeeeeeep". and need 20litres fuel on 100km. But you have to push it near the redline otherwiese you'll be overtaken by a Toyota Prius xD.

  • and every day I see a rx8, i still have to laugh! The car is so damn slow for such a good looking car. And while he shift 2 gears down and push it to the redline, i can overtake him without shifting, with low revs between 3000 and 4000 in a scooby. smiling and enjoying the turbo-punch.

  • @Dnaracer01 dont be mean beacause rx8 is a great car..feels like 130 hp? hm.are you retarted or something.. last time i checked i ran over an audi tt 1.8 turbo 180 hp..hm maybe the audi tt is garbage? just dont bother with rx8 if u dont like it man and tell bs..pff..that simple

  • @sonic8002

An Audi tt, that is funny. I never said that the car only has 130hp, but it feels like 130Hp. If you want to be fast in the rx8 you need high revs and much fuel. and under 7k rpm it feels like a small family car.

  • @Dnaracer01 thats why it has 9.500 rpm limit so you can stay up to 6500 rpm in every shift..lol..-.-..and tell me one na HIGH REVING car that has 200 hp at 2k or 5k rpm..stupid comment..

  • @versus4582 lulz, you mad bro?

  • @halflifemasta even lesser :D

  • @halflifemasta haha, atleast we know your right. lol

  • @halflifemasta i can't figure out if that's supposed to be a slam for mazda or just for any car

  • 1/2 than that /watch?v=d0qBWvG1G80&feature=related

  • Your civic is a civic the rx8 is an engineering feat. 232hp from a 1.3 NA 13b

  • lol the SA rx7 was a first gen and the 88 was 2nd gen... SA was series 1

  • youll burn your motor

  • @theshadowace321 Let me worry about that ....

  • @theshadowace321 You obviously no nothing about Rotary engines. They can easily handle extreme RPMs, even for prolonged periods. 13,000 RPM is the breaking point on the Renesis engine.

  • @RosieCracks Yeah, that's why they are so reliable when you use them for daily drivers too.

  • @Hendrixidol Exactly! Rotary FTW

  • 1997 Civic type R owns this car :)

  • @b0ss6769 Stock vs a streetport RX-8? lol rightttt

  • This was freaking awesome. You running an exhaust at all? An agency power exhaust with RP supercat would just scream with this tune.

  • you have porting?

  • @Tj1056 No i dont have any kind of porting my friend ... Nice car u have there on your own ... :)

  • @versus4582 mmhm thank you... is it really all that safe to take it to 10k without porting? I don't even go past 8,100 on my stock port rx7...

  • whats that beep noise you hit the 8000rpm mark?

  • @Bballstar024

    Its the shift buzzer.

With stock exhaust you don't realize how fast the engine is spinning sometimes, due to the smoothness of the motor. Mazda has installed the buzzer starting in the SA RX7 (1988). In my series 3 FB the redline was 7k and on more than one occasion in a corner I looked down and saw the tach buried way below the 8k (highest) mark.

  • @absentheartandmind I have an 86 rx7 and it has a buzzer, but yeah, good post.
