I will admit that when I was an in-patient for surgery, not too long ago, that I found out how many "secret column readers" were there! But, for the official stance, there were not any chapl;ains knowledgeable of what Paganism is all about. In fact, being in part of the Bible Belt, I could look at how many "Shocknawers", or "Nathans" actually were on staff!
I am glad that your husband has found a fellow Pagan there! May he complete the program in good stead!
My husband is in an in house VA program right now, and he met another Pagan vet there. They have a great time in group discussions when religion gets brought up.

It seems to be another case of
"Don't ask, Don't tell". You are allowed to be Pagan but don't expect any support from the Government.
