@greencheapsk8 I consider this a puplic forum. After spending/ wasting most of my youth searching, buying and listening to pop music,i think im entitled to my opinion and this is as good a place as any to state it.
Here is a little trick for keeping time during the odd meter parts (such as 3:05 to 4:20)----- When you count, use "sev" instead of seven. (As in 1 2 3 4 5 6 sev 8 9, etc.
You will be able to figure out and keep up with the meter mjuch easier.
i discovered Jethro Tull a week ago exactly, and my life hasn't been the same since. It has improved by miles and miles. It says a lot when you can say that just one band has changed everything for you.

You had to be there...otherwise you don't appreciate the situation that was the 60's/70's. I don't mean to be elitist, but that is the bottom line. The rest is fantasy about a time that only exists in your imagination.

You know I REALLY wanted to like this album this beginning( and a few select other parts throughout) are really enjoyable. I'm a huge Progressive Rock fan, but my God I'll be damned if there's anything more mind numbing than listening to this song all the way through. All the good parts of this "Epic" could be included ten fifteen minutes tops. What a Bummer.
@TheCrimsonCamel I disagree, every part of this for me is unforgetable, great melody hooks, instrumental composition, perfect album, but you're allowed not to like it. You could always listen to alternative cuts to the songs, there's a 20 minute minute version as well.
@Pasalaqcua In retrospect I admit probably more like the whole Side 1 with select parts from Side 2 I would've enjoyed more. My personal favorite album would have to be Yes's " Relayer" but to each his own my friend. Long live Prog Rock!
@illuminatiwatchin yeah, sounds kinda off, but i'm serious, we love classic rock, here we even have a couple vids uploaded here in youtube, sure it'll be like the real legends, but still, our tribute. Look us up "Fernandos Next Generation"
