Dame-dame, indeed. Wrong costuming, pathetic choreography (if there even WAS any!) and "acting" that makes Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris look like Robert DeNiro.

"An insult to Bushido" doesn't even begin to cover this atrocity.

A friendly aside for tasneefm, the proper term is "seppuku," not hara-kiri, which is a gross term literally meaning "stomach cutting," and it can (and sometimes was) done with the katana with the part of the blade the hands grip being wrapped in rice paper.

OK, a few things here, not because I hate bad movies but because I hate ignorance.

1. The clothing was totally inaccurate (they weren't even kimonos)

2. The sword fighting was NOT kendo, it was more like a cross between Chinese sword fighting and a drunk bar fight.

3. A real samurai would perform ritual harakiri.

4. What the guy did at the end (stabbing himself with his KATANA) was NOT proper harakiri.

To even mention bushido in this "film" is a disgrace itself. First of all, they where dressed in some wannabe rags(to me it almost lookslike they where dressed like greeks) and the fight itself whas just a huge nutcracker punch towards the samurai. If they gonna make a movie about bushido and samurais, atleast get some real practice first, and some practice at your acting skills. The ones who made this should just be ashamed of themselves.

I agree with yamagashi. The fighting might be ok in any run of the mill action movie but samurai do not fight in such a manner. They fight with calculated movements and they never run from an opponent. And most of all, it is not honorable for a samurai to kill somebody lying down in the back.

I think that's VERY good for an amature film. Sure, the moves aern't exactly accurate, but the fight scene itself is incredibly well done!
