  • yeah its a great techinque...lyoto and anderson are using it alot in their fights...side kick is coming back its my fav kick...since I'm southpaw i I like the closest contact to the left knee cap or thigh to attack and to counter in the left rib section when they rear kick thai style.

  • If you watch some of mister Cashman's other videos you will see he has no lack of stopping power in his sidekick. Respect man.

  • obviously your not paying attention. It's a difference in terms. He's showing a side kick counter. I was talking about the counter to the side kick.

  • Nice drill..simple but effective and over looked by many.

  • ahh I thought you were going to show the "counter sidekick"...BLAHHH maybe you should learn that kick.

  • just be quiet you have no idea what you are on about

  • @topicmanon acctually I do. I have been teaching the counter to the side kick for many years now. It's a very nasty kick in my art.

  • in all due respect it seems like your saying hes not particuly very good well when someone is going for you with a blitz i think this person has got it wrapped up and the way he deos it is effective he's got the right movement, stance and timing

  • all due respect listen to the title

  • cool training.

  • Good drill, man. Great for intercepting. Just need to dig in that kick before stepping back to be able to increase stopping power. Otherwise, the force of the kick is negated by the backward movement.

    Good one, man.
