there range is much longer in certain versions of age of war, when it first came out an ion turret could reach to slightly before the enemies base on all modes, on he next version, the range was cut down

it is possible to win only with cavemen ans super soldier .. cavemen just block, it's your special, og guns on building there do the job

its a strategy. all kinds of enimies require (at least) 1 hit to kill cavemen. u use the gun to att while the cavemen to take the dmg from enemies. If a lot of cavemen are stacked together, the enemies will die when they come.

I haven't completed impossible but a tip to all those there who are struggling with normal or easy.On the first age buy slingshot turret then egg then primate turret.On the next age buy 1 oil turret and 1 fire catapult.Stay like that until you get to the 4th age and buy all turret spots and use all of them for the double turret.Like that you will be invulnurable but try to get all iron rays.

I just beat impossible after watching the video (after a few tries). Just spam cavemen, and buy up to 3 egg turrets. As long as you have lots of 15$ overlapping cavemen, your base is untouchable until you reach the Military age Machine Gun wave. Then upgrade to military and buy/upgrade turrets. Once nothing gets past your turrets, you don't have to blow money on units. Keep saving, and once you buy the blue ray gun, all ur base are belong to us.

i prefer to use slingshot men. and some of the times i would switch to the 3rd(?) evolution and pick the most expensive cannon that turns into more bombs when it blows up. key is to just get the first egg shooter, then spam cavemen and upgrade turrets as you get the money. and switch to military when you've got 45k? i think it is... and immediately upgrade to double turret.

Believe it or not, I beat the game on impossible, only using the special weapon once (at the beginning to get the egg shooter) and only taking one hit, without using any cheats or exploits. But the recording is FORTY FIVE minutes long (the game slows to a halt when too many units are on the screen at once).

LOL my coworker showed me this game and I tried impossible before Normal/Harder and he's like "you're retarded"... I lose the first try, but it's so simple of a game compared to my 9 years of gaming... so I take a few seconds to write down possible strategies and win on my second try. I used the same method. Egg catapult, spam club men and upgrade the amount of turrets... since club men produce the fastest, it's too easy.

i had no money cheat, those clubmen are just 15 ea.. if i kill one of those good guys from the 2nd or 3rd age, i get so much money i can buy cavemen. and i also save up some money. eventually i got money enough to buy some turrets, and then i dont have anything to do cause the turrewts take care of the enemy;)

hehe the reason bhind the cavemen is lets just do the math really quickly ok. near 1.5 seconds 15$ each caveman, they can easily pile up to 3-8 in one spot so that adds alot of damage per second, also the cavemen block the way so he can use the volcano more
