Hey. I can hear. I do not think deaf people are dumb, that does not make any sence :s A question thats allways ben on my mind though, is how do deaf people think? Now if we say a deaf person who never learned "words", do they think in pictures with their hands? Because when i think, i "talk" to myself. Ofcause there is also pictures and feelings and some other thing i cant explain. Just wondering (: Ps. If only pictures, it might be a faster way of thinking?
@iSpiritMyfaith I think i understand what you are trying to ask. But in a hearing person, they hear themselves talking in their heads, right? But for the deaf person, they sometimes do see themselves talkin to them in their heads or they do talk to themselves by signing. (thats what i do....)

It's pretty sad that many rejected that ASL was created from another language which is English but mostly from French. ASL has 10,000 words and English has over 150,000 words from the dictionary.

English language have grammar which ASL does not have. There are many deaf still trying to learn the English language which is why hearing people have trouble understanding what the deaf people writes on a piece of paper to communicate.

One of my deaf friend told me story. Hearing man ask her two stupid questions. He asked did you read Braille? She said I am not fucking blind. He write down ask her can you read and write? She write down you got answer right front of you. Lol
You really should work on your writing, though, if you want to come across as intelligent as possible. Your grammar could be improved. I don't mean that as an insult but constructive criticism.

I am deaf, I know there's many hearing people are dumb for misjudging people included deaf people. Look at hearing people, too many hearing people go to jail everyday for any reason. They do stupid stuffs too. They do make mistakes too. They do speak but can happen to miscommunicate. Deaf people are just like hearing people. The fact is deaf people can communicate without actually speaking where many hearing people don't know how. Those people who think deaf people are dumb have no manners.
