Every time I drive my mom's 91' Eighty Eight, I'm continuously amazed at how little pedal it takes for cruising around. The thing just loves to coast! That 3.8 is something I hope stays around for a long time, even if they have to go into series III, IV, and so on..
I just bought a 90 Olds Eighty-Eight and can not find the drive side seat adjustment for the back support. The passenger seat back adjustment is on the side but the driver side seat has no adjustment, just the one under front for forward and aft adj. It has 40/60 seat config.....can someone give me some info on location...Thanks!
@423jaws the driver side doesnt adjust :( My car doesnt have an adjustment lever either and i have a 89 Olds 88 which really sucks because Im 15 5'3" and if i didnt have a hood ornament i wouldnt be able to see where my car hood ends lol

I understand the view of the hood and bumper after hitting the garage door about 4 times...LOL..The front seat is like a Lazy Boy recliner and being 6' I can stretch out drink a cup of coffee and read the paper..You still have some growing yet and being 15 your Olds 88 will be a great car to grow into.I have named my Olds 88 'Big Mommy' and I'm proud driving her...Again, Thanks for the info,be safe and Happy New Year.
@423jaws thanks! Glad I could help and lol I hope so because I have to use a back cushon to see the whole hood ornament. If i dont then I can only see the top half of it! I know that I'm proud of my car too. it was my great grandma's and she gave it to me before she passed away. It only has 64,000 miles on it too!
Got a 1989 Oldsmobile 88 Royale basic except for the cassette player, and the interchangable wipers other than that its basic manual locks and windows white exterior and royal blue interior... never lets me down and it only has 63,919 miles! :)

I have an 88 royal, its my baby, i drive it everyday, it never lets me and my friends down.

We used to have an '86 Delta 88 - it could have been a Royal, but whatever the case, the interior of this car is similar.
