@Mattavius96 Kinda ironic, because the Tiger tank was one of the worst tanks in history. It had a good gun, but other than that, it was a failure in every single way. It suffered from mobility problems, engine problems, it didn't use sloping and had some bad armor.

Again, it was a lesson learned from the Eastern Front.

So had that been a real life situation, with M10 firing first like it did, one Tiger would have either been immobilized or had its gun/turret crippled. In real life it doesn't take 2 seconds by two pioneers with fusion cutters to repair that.
@fingers238 An M79 AP penetrating a Tiger's front turret at 1,000m? An extremely lucky shot at best, depending on what penetration table you are looking at. OTOH, a Tiger could obliterate an M10 at well over 2,500m. So, in real life, an M10 would have been taken out long before it could even engage the Tiger. Same goes for the Pershing, imo. American gunners had difficulty engaging at long ranges because of poor optics. Not a problem with the Germans with their superior gunsights.

Panzers are not exactly better in all catagories but over all I'd take a Panzer IV over a Sherman any day mainly because of firepower, Tiger I vs a Sherman there is no match, even the Tiger I was better over rough terrian than a Sherman despite what some people say. Tiger I was also faster in rough terrian than a Panzer IV, only the Panther out performed the Tiger I in nearly all catagories but protection despite it's slopped armor it had far more weak points than a Tiger I.

In any book you'll find, from any veteran you'll meet, you'll be told that the Tiger was much slower than most of the other tanks. What saved it was it's armor and gun, but certainly not it's off road abilities.
@Briselance Because most people are idiots who do not know better. Tiger I easily out performed the narraw tracked Panzer IV, despite it's weight, of course only in ideal conditions. Sherman was an awful off road vehicle, in fact they had to hurridly add extentions to the tracks during one winter just so they'd not get stuck in the mud, the Tiger I was powerful enough to dig it's way out even if it was stuck, only in extreme cases were tigers lost because of terrian issues.
I'm not usually one to pick at small things, but I had to this time. "Panzer" in German means "tank". Meaning every german 'tank' was a panzer just of a different mark or model. So unless there were more Sherman types than all German tanks used in the war, you're statement isn't quite right.
But yes, German tanks on a 1v1 more or less outclassed any other tank.
Theres a mod available that adds a tiger to the German Tank Depot, you get prettymuch unlimited Tiger production until u hit population cap. Costs almost 1000 manpower though, over 100 fuel. But as im sure youve been told, its 2vs2.
A Pershing M26 tank has a front armor of 110 millimeters thick and has an AA gun of 90 mm as main armament ... so the M26 was the equivalent of the Tiger 1 and Panther.
Ok, the Pershing might look like crap in this video. But this is just a video game. It has barely anything - if not nothing - to do with the real qualities and weaknesses of every piece of equipment and armament displayed here.

haha I thought it was me playing (uncommonly as the Allies) against you first until I realized I wouldn't be so stupid using my Pershing. German Wehrmacht is the best and funnest to use in the game :)

In history and in the game, the panzer were the best tanks but the sherman had more personalizazion and types, crocodile,M4 ecc. ecc.

Panzers are not exactly better in all catagories but over all I'd take a Panzer IV over a Sherman any day mainly because of firepower, Tiger I vs a Sherman there is no match, even the Tiger I was better over rough terrian than a Sherman despite what some people say. Tiger I was also faster in rough terrian than a Panzer IV, only the Panther out performed the Tiger I in nearly all catagories but protection despite it's slopped armor it had far more weak points than a Tiger I.

How could the Tiger 1 be faster than a Panzer 4 or a Sherman, while the TIger 1 weighed 57 metric tons and the Sherman M4 30 metric tons ?
In any book you'll find, from any veteran you'll meet, you'll be told that the Tiger was much slower than most of the other tanks. What saved it was it's armor and gun, but certainly not it's off road abilities.

@Briselance Because most people are idiots who do not know better. Tiger I easily out performed the narraw tracked Panzer IV, despite it's weight, of course only in ideal conditions. Sherman was an awful off road vehicle, in fact they had to hurridly add extentions to the tracks during one winter just so they'd not get stuck in the mud, the Tiger I was powerful enough to dig it's way out even if it was stuck, only in extreme cases were tigers lost because of terrian issues.

I'm not usually one to pick at small things, but I had to this time. "Panzer" in German means "tank". Meaning every german 'tank' was a panzer just of a different mark or model. So unless there were more Sherman types than all German tanks used in the war, you're statement isn't quite right.
But yes, German tanks on a 1v1 more or less outclassed any other tank.

Theres a mod available that adds a tiger to the German Tank Depot, you get prettymuch unlimited Tiger production until u hit population cap. Costs almost 1000 manpower though, over 100 fuel. But as im sure youve been told, its 2vs2.

A Pershing M26 tank has a front armor of 110 millimeters thick and has an AA gun of 90 mm as main armament ... so the M26 was the equivalent of the Tiger 1 and Panther.
Ok, the Pershing might look like crap in this video. But this is just a video game. It has barely anything - if not nothing - to do with the real qualities and weaknesses of every piece of equipment and armament displayed here.
