Guess the guy ended up more a producer or writer, must've realized singing wouldn't be a big part of his future. It's his vocals on Life's Too Good cd that drags it down for me. Prob in 88 it was hip in some circles. The attitude of..anyone can do it, a modest talent's no barrier, anything's good on its own terms. IE punk sensiblilty gave a lot of leeway. Genius, a fire you can catch in a bottle, true but..a limited standard. Nirvana perfection as a crawlspace. Malcolm McLaren's children. RIP
