@starletrelamenos exactly, he's a good player, that's the first step... If he likes blues he'll get the fell of it.. I just wrote that for encouragement ;)
i was thinking litterally right before this vid about the style of guitar i wanted to play lol i was thinking i like the blues feel but i wana do the shred of metal and rock.... and then i saw this THANK YOU :) perfect example
You don't play blues on Ibanez shred machines. It just make it way too easy. Blues must be properly played on a guitar with fairly high action(forget hammer ons, they won't work) and a high E string no smaller than a .11 Makes you work for the notes you get. Ibanezes are just too easy to play, they almost play themselves and do not have a round tone.
Seriously the fat tone on a typical blues track doesn't always come from higher gauge strings-it can be said that there's quite a difference in humbuckers or single coils, effects being used, amps being used-don't put blues in a box, it's bigger than you could ever fathom.
i didn't put blues in a box at all... i completely agree with you... i was telling some other guy that you can play it however you choose... which is completely opposite of putting it "in a box"
check out robben ford dont over do it for the solos especially when its blues leave some space maybe some gaps here and there like bb king focus on tasteful phrases rather than noodeling and at the beggining try experiementing with the mixoblues scale its mixolydian with a flat 5
Dude don't blame the guy for playing something that isn't technically hard to play. Musically, it sounded great. I was entertained. He was subtle enough to avoid overdoing it, but interesting when it counts.
i dont think, i just dont rekon you have to pay out something you dont like. each unto there own. respect someone with skill, well more skill tha i have anyway.
Just goes to show that you don't need a Fender or Gibson to play good blues. You're an awesome player, bro...just remember- leave your ego, love the people, play the music...
Ja Jimmy, dass gefällt mir ausgezeichnet!

@KillaBee23z where did you saw that?
all i saw it was a great guitar player that cannot play blues...
he uses some blues licks and in a minute destroys them with some shredding shit.
btw as i said before he is very good player.

Not Right^^, the neck is just not that big, right for a real blueas tone you need another guitar, but that doesnt make the guitar play itself.

that's just your opinion, you can play blues however you want...
