@rosemarie443 i want to fuck your brains out you fucking slut lets have brutal sex to the point your god damn eye balls explode from my dick being so far up your asshole
I wanna pay my respect for this living legend of CW. I think he's one of the most dynamic and powerfull CW-singers all time. BRAVO for this little wonder of Country Music !!
I used to sing this song every so often. Yeah, everyone thought I did good with it, but I personally felt out of place, because I'm about six and a half feet tall, and Jimmy isn't even five feet tall. Great song nonetheless.
I maybe nearly 4,000 miles away from Nashville and Living in Ireland and only 19 years old but when ever i hear Little Jimmy Sing Buy God he makes me feel in im sitting in the room listing to him play Long Live Little Jimmy and Long Live Country Music
I just back for Nashville. Little Jimmy Dickens, who is 90 years old, hosted the show, talking jokes for half hour and sang two songs. He is legendary!
BRAD PAISLEY, ALONG WITH ALAN JACKSON AND GEORGE STRAIT IS THE CONTEMPORANY BEST COUNTRY MUSIC REPRESENTANT FAR !!! TRUE COUNTRY ARTISTS BRING BACK THE OLD SCHOOL ONES SO YOUNG PEOPLE CAN LEARN WHERE THIS ROOT MUSIC COME FROM. GOD BLESS THEM ALL !!
@EARTHQUAKE8448 I saw him in October 2010 at the Grand Ole Opry on a visit from England, and he was almost a stand up comedian as well as a singer, so funny! Hope he gets well soon!
I remember when I was little we would hear this song play all the time on the radio, I loved it then & I love it now!! If you love this one then you'll like songs by Donna Fargo (songs--Funny Face & Happiest Girl in the Whole USA); Jeannie C. Reily (song--Harper Valley P.T.A.); Glen Campbell (song--(Rhinestone Cowboy).....There are many, many Good Ole Country Western songs by some of the GREATEST artists that ever lived.
@Factnotfictionpeople He's apparently not past his best....he still performs regularly and still keeps audiences attention in every show I've seen him perform in.
Isn't it funny how a novelty song with a nine word title can become a defining moment in a musician's career? Does anyone know how the song's title came about? Or why Jimmy is so short?
were suppose to go back to nashville but since its flooded wer're wondering if we should go now what a shame it happened does anyone know if the ryman autotorium was flooded i would still kind of like to go im sure theres a lot of things to see
my freind and i were in nashville and met little jimmy dickens sitting on a bench what a sweet man im glad hes getting better i heard a while back he was not feeling too chipper i didnt ask him for his autograph wish i would have
@KathieDashner YOU CERTAINLY A VERY LUCKY LADY. I WISH I COULD MEET HIM. CONGRATS TO YOU. I UNDERSTAND HE IS A VERY WARM ENTERTAINNER. THANK-YOU FOR THE INPUT. YOU MADE MY NIGHT
If you get the chance, listen to Little Jimmie Dickens sing "Have I told you lately" from around 1960. Newest generation country should take lessons. Country stars today just don't make the grade for me.
Love Little Jimmy!!! The oldest living member of the Grand Ole Opry!!! This was a #1 hit 45 years ago, and now he's almost 90... Half his life ago, and the song is still FUN!!!
Its great to see two of West Virginia's OWN Singing together on the grandest stage of them all!!! I live only about 30 mins from where jimmy grew up and still has some family n the area,he comes back home to visit them in the spring and fall, how id love to get to meet him!!! so all you people below me lol that says your KIN to little jimmy and you live here in southern WV ,well then hook a brother up would ya? Cause id love to have the chance to meet him!!! thx
i agree with you on trace adkins but honestly brad paisley is amazing. not even his guitar skills his voice and song writing is good. except his new song. that kinda sux
if ever in nashville go to the music cuty bar (real small joingt) across the street from the opry entrance. he's there everynight before the show, having a glass of wine with his manager.
I listened to the Grand Ole Opry live on the radio for the first time ever just last week. I so enjoyed hearing this little guy. He had me in stitches! I'll be tuning in again tomorrow night. I sure hope I get to hear him again soon! I'll have to get a ticket to the Opry and see him in person, since I live within an hour's drive of Nashville.
I love this man to death....i started listening to him when i was little with my grand father and i would love to have a picture taken with him....but before me and papaw could go , papaw passed ...but soon i will take that trip to meet him he is the cutiest man alive.......
Wouldn't 'zactly call him a "pioneer" himself . . . that title belongs somewhere in Uncle Dave Macon and Mother Maybelle's generation. He is, however, a direct link between their era of the Opry and today's.
@docsavage98 Amen! The 'new generation' of performers who call themselves country musicians are, in large part, just rock singers who can't make it in the rock world and are looking for an easy out in the country genre. They won't last long there, either. "Tater" has been in country music 70 years or so and still performing, which tells you something right there,
little jmmy your the best by the way we have something in common im four ft. eleven only cant sing good like you wow your the greatest your fan from canada
