The stories & actors in Nu-hu are terrible. The stories are repetitive, unoriginal, unimaginative, dated & soap opera-like.

@Redhellmet First of all I'm a GUY. Secondly yes the show may now have moments of romance which I didn't like too much, but the show still stands great. You clearly havn't watched any recent episodes because they've changed. And i could say the exact same thing to you, the originals lacked fast pace, good effects, more in depth character relations and the stories were pretty bad a lot of the time. But basically just because you like the classic series doesn't change the facts.

@Samuel24842 (continued) Nu-hu lacks pace! It has 5mins stories stretched out to 45 mins (too slow) while at the same time the characters just run around (without going anywhere) all the time accompanied by ill-fitting, fast, loud muzak.

Nu-hu FX are all cgi - the cheapest of all FX that ANY1 can reproduce at home on their PC. The FX in the original can be excused cuz they had a small budget, the FX looked good considering that. Nuhu looks as cheap as chips ESPECIALLy when considering the budget

@Samuel24842 (continued) Even with it's minute budget, DW still produced FX that look better than Nu-hu's (like the space station in Trial of a Timelord, like when they show the Dr's hearts in The Caves of Androzani, which looks good, especially when comparing the cgi hearts of the Nu-hu Dr in 'Dalek')

Series 6 uses cheap amateurish tricks like the lighting which is always too dark with either a green, red or blue light shining on the actors' faces & every amateurs favourite toy the fog machine!

The stories of the original DW were very complex (much too complex for you to understand maybe), they were real sci-fi, unlike the simplified, repetitive plot's of Nu-hu. How many times have they done the 2 Amy's thing now? THREE times!

Take the series 5 finale - All the Dr.'s foes band together, put all their brains & technology together & all they come up with is to put the Dr in a box, he is then put in the box -cliffhanger & no next time trailer - (high expectations, the apex of all tension & excitement of the entire series thus far) -next ep he gets out using his magic wand - yeah that was a very impressive story, not the epitome of LAME at all, right?

Look, I LOVE the CDW. Whenever I see a "new" episode I'm so freaking excited. But most of my friends think that the old series' are pretty bad because of "old acting" (for example, the fighting etc) and terrible special effects. But just because I love CDW doesn't mean that I start ranting about how NDW is so much special effects etc (altough, it really does annoy me that the Screwdriver is used in every episode and he solves everything with it)

Don't know what you mean by "old acting", do you mean good acting? I suppose they are used to American spotty, shouty, stammery, panty(as in panting) acting. Or the kind of acting that even extras can out-do like John Simm's "acting".

Then I tuned in for series 5 because I heard some false rumour that ReTarD had left. After watching series 5 I established that actually Moffat had left.
