I never EVER want to visit China. It's likely I would get an infectious disease or asthma just hanging around in the city. I much prefer teaching in South Korea.at least I never experienced a 9 DAY traffic jam over there. China's just way too overpopulated. Still, learning some simple hygiene rules and etiquette would go a long way to change some foreigners perspective of China.

Truth of the matter is that if China and the US rly would be at war they'd both collapse economically the moment the war started, so no real chance of that happening anyway. (However if there'd be a war between the two, I'd be on China's side, particularly because they're much much better peacekeepers than the Americans could ever be.)

I agree with ur 1st comment, but not with this, like most of our countrymen. China's military spending is still but a fraction of the USA and Japan. We are spending more now because we can afford to spend more. The West has been spending more for decades. The UK now talks about cuts, but thats only because of the massive government debts.
In this world, the weak suffer, the strong thrive. China must be strong.
