Nokia Lumia 800 battery life problem

Story: I go to sleep with battery life of 100% left. I woke up 8 hours later with 43% battery life left... FB and MSN chats offline trough the night, waiting for some solutions by Nokia. (Battery diagnostics says Full charge 1474mAh)

I didnt have the battery problem untill I installed the update... which was meant to fix the problem. Now I have really poor battery life. why?!

For some reason my mah goes doen 3-5 points each time i charge my phone... is this normal? i went from 1500 - 1350 ... and iv only ahd this phone for a week. does it mean i need to get a new phone by the end of the month?

I have updated the software of my Lumia 800 and I'm still getting a 960mAh reading! I don't get it.. While Nokia has announced Lumia 900, JUST for the US market btw, we have to struggle with our Lumia 800's crappy battery. No wonder why Apple is still leading the industry. I wanted to support Nokia's effort, but at the end I've got myself an iPhone 4S. What a disappointment, Lumia could really be a great device...

lot's of use from 9 in the morning... at about 5 or 6 my battery is at 20 % .. horrible

my battery life is horrible, my full charge is 960 -.- .... i don't want to wait 2 weeks for a replacement and having to download all apps and installing contacts etc...

My full charge capacity reads 1521mAh but it struggles to get past 7 hours of occasional use... wtf?

Is it true that only the Cyan and Magenta are affected by the actual problem that the software update addresses?

Mine has full charge capacity of 1486 mAH, will charge to around 1250mAH or so... but the phone only last for 7-8 hours max.. never last a full day..(I have the phone for 4 days now).. What's wrong.. its very annoying.... worst that iPhone 4..

I'm getting 24-36 hrs, which is day, day and a half. Acceptable since I run Whatsapp, two email accounts polling every hour, listening music while commuting, and checking Facebook once in a while.

3G always on and Wifi at home / office. I think the battery life is very very good compared to my previous phones (iPhone 4, Galaxy S2).

Mine seems fine, I checked the diagnostics and its shows 1516mAh. My Lumia seems to last just about as long as my iPhone 4 did.

Hmm, cheers for the vid. Just did this and mine says 1513 mAh but mine still had dreadful battery. life. Like it's almost flat after 24 hours. I've turned off background processes that I can. But that's with Wifi on, so I'm going to turn that off a see how it fares.

I have heard about this. Apparently Nokia is aware there is an issue. Keeping my eyes opened to see if a Nokia 900 is coming up.
