Hi Wewilhelm, the only one I have (and fabric on hand) is the prototype seen in the video. I'm glad you like it. I used it a bunch this summer base camping, and found an extendable pole so it can be set up anywhere, regardless of tree limbs.
Hi Pye, its 11 feet diameter, which means it has about 100 square feet sleeping room. I like to put a ground sheet on half the area, and leave the other half for wet gear, dirty shoes, etc.
Beautiful Job on the Video and on your Ultralite Silnylon Teepee. I like the way you designed and made it yourself, homemade is always best. Thanks for sharing this video.
This does inspire me to make one for my family and I.Thanks Again.
The ground sheet does pretty good in high winds....
But, seriously, the teepee has lots of staking points, and three height options. Once I did set it up in 30 mile winds and ripped a portion of the skirting along with some of the staking loops. When I got it home, I repaired it. Now, I find a sheltered spot if it gets too windy, or drop it low, or use as a tarp for a temporary shelter.
Thanks, faolbushcraft, I did design and make this tipi. It takes about 14 yards of silnylon, several yards of no-see-um netting, and some hardware( clips , velcro, etc).
I used to sew custom gear for people, but don't anymore. Sorry.
Beauty video love the tepee and tapestry !

Is there any chance that you could send me some sketches of the design? The details on the skirt and door would be awesome.
Any more details on the fabric would also be appreciated.

Did you make the tipi? If so, do you sell them, and what is the cost? Thanks.
Nice looking setup. I have been looking for something like this.
