@rlablue Did you or anyone you know ever try those numerous Gafftopsail Cats? There's always a huge number of those around the Gulf in Florida, so maybe that would be a good bait if it attracted the crabs, don't ya think?

Is the camera rig common or do most fishers just pull the pot and throw it back? I mean you have to pull it up anyhow...

The camera set up is my own creation. Most times, you have to pull the pot to check after about at least a 45 minute soak. Can get tiring after a while (we use 6 pots).  The song was on u-tube, don't remember the name).
