Funny video! But why is the dude wearing loin cloth???? :/ weird!!!! ... Have these peeps been to Nigeria and met Nigerians? If they have, they'd probably TRULY 'want to be Nigerians!
How the hell can anyone insult these people? they were doing a project and it is not insultive in any way, trust the youtube gangsters in cyber cafe's in Nigeria to always come on here and complain about everything
I love it ! I love it !! I love it !!!. This is some good funny video. The guy with "ONE LOVE" on his chest is an awesome rapper too. This video is even more funny because they got the social and political issues in Nigeria so precisely.
These beautiful girls and this handsome guy are just too cool. what a beautiful song?Well composed, sweet voices. Keep it up girls. Greetings from Nigeria,
You guys shld be proud some other cultures take interest in yours, there's no insult in this video at all, if only u understood d lyrics. cos u dont knw to fish does not mean ppl dont fish in 9ja, some ppl r just aggressive to white color folks, am sure if it is done by nigerians u will be clapping. all i say to d producer(s) is well done, funny good song.
u think dis shit is funny? i am a nigerian and i found it so fucking offensive. wtf is up wit the guy in the diaper. we were clothes like u guys do. i am a nigerian and i don't even know how to fish, u make it seem like all we do is fish. u don't know shit bout nigeria, the only thing u got rite is dat we will be kicking dat soccer ball and scoring goals.
As a Nigerian-American, who reps Naija (Nigeria) ALL DAY! I have to applaud you guys on your great effort but I am not pleased at the guy wearing what appears to be a loin cloth, now thats a big NO NO! Nigerians do not joke when it comes to a few things, including their clothes. You were better off putting pics than that
The caption here says they made "apt cultural allusions". So who wants to be on the cover of TELL magazine when there's OVATION? And how come they're not singing about Nollywood and Naija hip hop and their ENORMOUS influence on the entire African continent? Too stereotypical and shallow, i'd say.....and the guy's dressed like a moron too
This is quite funny and stereotypical! as well. Why's the dude not wearing a shirt and something similar to a loin cloth? Excuse me...Nigeria dudes don't dress like that! Oh well...not bad.
Waooooo this song makes me feel home like never before.....i love my Country and i missed my mother land so much big up brodas and 1 love peace we shall bring back home and United we shall share together no matter the weather.I LOVE NIGERIA I LOVE AFRICA I LOVE BLACKS
If you want to be a Nigeria so freakin' bad... just come down to Abuja, Nigeria and marry me... then you would become a NIgerian.... LOL! You guys are Great!
what i dont understand is, why the insults towards russia ("being a russian is just so sad")? its pretty clear you're americans, just seems like you're insulting a random country for no reason.
Hey! all you guys talking trash to the people who dont like the song are the ones with issues or as you put it complex. they have a right to express their feelings as much as you do. so next time you wanna post a comment say wat you feel and dont talk trash about other's expressing theirs. saw the video and like it although there're something i dont like but its all good. rating 6/10

I'm a Nigerian (living in the US) and I had fun watching this. I'm glad you got to learn a bit about our country, and perhaps some day you get to visit. To folks giving these kids a hard time, please get off your high horses. It was clear that they were having fun with what they learned about a far-away place. They didn't mention that they want to be the first to see some of the rarest cars (before they're bought in other countries) or they want to party so hard, with some of the richest foods or tie their gele so wide, they can fly on it
Im a British Nigerian and I dont find this offensive at all. the point that Nigeria has been so globally famous through nollywood and from the help of the south african world cup just shows have africa has continennt is being seen less as a poverty striken country and more of a cultural land of riches and heart x

lol, i'm Nigerian and not offended. Only thing is that some of the lyrics where a "wtf" moment. I don't think this was suppose to be offense, this video could just be better.
@MegaKhanti Where is your sense of Humor.? did you listen to the lyrics at all before chatting shit...lol. that was a cool job done. YOU CAN MAKE YOURS AND LETS SEE WHAT YOU HAVE...OLODO.

Well i will start by sayin you guys are creative at your level .As for d diapers which maybe he wore to represent as leaves or some jungle shit that's history ,maybe during late 18th century n early 19th century we dressed that way but not anymore ,i believe u Russians have a funny dressing during that time as well .
Generally i want to commend u guys 4 d great work because it got me laughing ,seeing 3 sweet girls n all of a sudden a weirdo trying to rap like Eminem. One luv n Peace 2 d world.
Love the video , enlightening and funny too! R.I.P ken Saro Wiwa, a brave man that stood up to the oil companies and the military dictatorship back then.
If you don't mind me asking, where are you from @shelLanney21
This video is irritating, the guy in the makeshift thong just takes the biscuit!! If you really don't mean to be offensive I suggest you remove the video or do a remake without the ridiculous archaic stereotypes!!!
I LOVE THIS!!!!! GOOD CREATIVITY. I AM A NIGERIA BABE FROM THE EAST AND THIS IS HILARIOUS. THANKS 4 PROMOTING MY COUNTRY!!!!! AM SO PROUD OF U GUYS. @ ShelLanney21...ME LIKE!!!!!
@ those in the video, there is nothing to worry about offending, am a nigerian, i urge you guys to keep your heads up, you all are doing a great job paying attention and being creative... I adore u all 4 being able to come up with this video and @Shellanney, am sure your lecturer is proud of you guys who came together to show the world abt ur support and interest in a country like mine....
Wantd to dislike the video initially but the comments above gave me a change of heart. Nice Video, btw! Kudos galz!!! Proud Nigerian Here!!! WE ROCK!!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!
I honestly do not know wat to say!! I was actually uppset when i first saw this video but after reading your comments (which i hope are true), all I can say i well done.. at least for people who have never been in Nigeria.
It is strange that it is foreigners that preach patriotism and Nigeria-jingoism for Nigerians ... what about our musicians...I think we have a lot to learn from this music..... Indeed an inspiring and creative art.. kudos
"Every time I close my eyes, I see my eyes in gas flared lights!" Seriously, I got caught in this line. Nice work, but you need to explore from different angles as well.
forreal-sies tho...the clothes thing is pissing me off. With all the reserch you did, you telling me u cldnt find some long cloth and a like hat to match it so u could at least say you were tryna represent the native wear of nigeria?....come on...that's just sad. It would been just as funny to ur class if it was something like that, not a diaper makin him look like he in the damn jungle huntin for a lion, yea, that's what it looked like lmao.
Great research guys BUT me a Nigerian, I dnt visit different villages every night, I dont even have a boat and am sure I dont even know how to row one, I really dont play soccer in diapers, Obabsanja cant play soccer even to save his *SWEET* life and I avoid Niger Delta like the plague! good job ya'll...
fun of the country, the guy in the "diaper" has nothing to do with the video more of a way to make our class laugh. We know there are not all villages it just fit with the original song which is called billionaire by travie McCoy and Bruno Mars. This video in no way was meant to offend or make fun of Nigerians or their culture. We are sorry to all we offended.
@ShelLanney21 It is strange that it is foreigners that preach patriotism and Nigeria-jingoism for Nigerians ... what about our musicians...I think we have a lot to learn from this music..... Indeed an inspiring and creative art.. kudos
@ShelLanney21 Good job and to those who is talking trash if its for fun still loving it and to think of it what make it sound like their are making fun of Nigeria?. You guys did a great job and I hope you guys try to make it there some day just like your teacher and see for your self. Nigeria is not all that bad like some people say, among 50 - 5 is bad that those make all bad Nig is jst like any other country were you find good and bad. Thank you guys!
Ignore anyone who feels offended, they obviously have a complex... obviously most Nigerians here appreciate that you know so much about Nigeria and have taken the time to create this
To everyone watching or commenting to this video!!
I am one of the girls in this video. The purpose and point of this video was to make a video about some of the things we learned about a few of the countries we studied this year in our AP comparative politics class. We picked Nigeria because it was the country we found the most interesting. And also because our teacher has been multiple times and never stops talking about how much he loves it. To all who are offended we in no way are making f
@ShelLanney21 Im Nigerian and I Love the video :) I actually think its funny and nice that out of all the countries, you picked Nigeria. Naija for life! :D
@ShelLanney21 I'm a Nigerian & I love the video! That's all that matters! Don't listen to those people making stupid comments, some of them are not even Nigerians and the ones that are Nigerians are just unconsciously glad that you guys did the video. Trust me on that, I know how Nigerians act lol. Just disregard the comments because they even talk trash on videos from Nigerian artistes lol. Its all good though, nice job! Hope you passed the class?

Well i will start by sayin you guys are creative at your level .As for d diapers which maybe he wore to represent as leaves or some jungle shit that's history ,maybe during late 18th century n early 19th century we dressed that way but not anymore ,i believe u Russians have a funny dressing during that time as well .
Generally i want to commend u guys 4 d great work because it got me laughing ,seeing 3 sweet girls n all of a sudden a weirdo trying to rap like Eminem. One luv n Peace 2 d world.

This video is irritating, the guy in the makeshift thong just takes the biscuit!! If you really don't mean to be offensive I suggest you remove the video or do a remake without the ridiculous archaic stereotypes!!!

It is strange that it is foreigners that preach patriotism and Nigeria-jingoism for Nigerians ... what about our musicians...I think we have a lot to learn from this music..... Indeed an inspiring and creative art.. kudos

forreal-sies tho...the clothes thing is pissing me off. With all the reserch you did, you telling me u cldnt find some long cloth and a like hat to match it so u could at least say you were tryna represent the native wear of nigeria?....come on...that's just sad. It would been just as funny to ur class if it was something like that, not a diaper makin him look like he in the damn jungle huntin for a lion, yea, that's what it looked like lmao.

fun of the country, the guy in the "diaper" has nothing to do with the video more of a way to make our class laugh. We know there are not all villages it just fit with the original song which is called billionaire by travie McCoy and Bruno Mars. This video in no way was meant to offend or make fun of Nigerians or their culture. We are sorry to all we offended.
