Im the same..big sounds came out of this era.. some great bands also. In Australia we don't get to see all these guys still touring so you are really fortunate to see them play.

I have never seen/heard these guys live before so seeing this vid I am so surprised to hear the vocals sound just like the album version..killer stuff..Janie Lane - Sebastian Bach all kick the shit out of a lot of the singers around now !!

I grew up in the 80's and love big hair bands. The only thing I have found that comes close nowadays is Christian Rock...Skillet is my favorite...if you don't know them look them up or check my profile. They are amazing Live too and such nice people. Firehouse was in my top five hair bands of all time!  John the lead singer of Skiller talks in every show how he loves hair bands and any band who had big hair and spandex was his band. Check out Skillet!!!

I go nuts playing air drums in the car when listening to this tune. Definitely one of my favorite hairband era songs!

I saw them live in 1991/1992 when they supported Status Quo. The drummer kept trying to swirl his sticks and messing up. CJ had to take the piss out of him in the end as he couldn't ignore it anymore :)

Note the year; 1991-- Grundge was just about to become the flavour of the month for big label record companies; and they would turn their backs on HAIR-METAL bands who had pretty much made them billions in revenue for 10yrs; for a 2yr fad......

MTV would follow by not playing any more vids-signaling the death of thhe freshest and coolest genre in Rock history. Back then I said F them! I never bought in to grundge; and to this day my car is full of Hair Metal CDs--and always will be.

@LOKISlog7 Yeah Lokislog. But look at it this way. Grundge did the metal world a favour. They killed off all the shit bands. And the plastics like 'Babylon A.D' who brought out one decent album and then jumped on the grundge bandwagon died with them. Meanwhile the real metal bands went underground again and continued to flourish once more without needing MTV and commercialism. Metal had always been an underground movement, yet continues to outsale any other genre.

The 80s saw an uplifting of spirit at the people level, effectively making them strong enough to become a major political threat. Music has always been an important tool of the people (Woodstock). This got turned around in the 90s. How do you spell MUSIC? "S-H-I-T". That's how. Since the 90s the only good music that ever came out was contemporary christian. Now basically ALL commercial music is a pile of crap. Piracy has been the number one tool for fighting back.
