Voting for someone that you don't agree with or a candidate that you feel is the lesser of 2 evils is wasting your vote. The bottomline is, why do you vote? I vote because I want to show my support for a candidate that represents me and my values, but more than that, as a Christian I am required to stand up for righteousness whatever the cost. God is in control.
I challenge you with this. If you are in a state that will probably be safely Obama's, Does that mean that if I vote McCain in one of those states I am throwing away a vote? By your logic yes, by mine no. Cause your vote should be whom you want to represent you and what you believe.
Voting for a 3rd party is not a waste. It would be a waste if you voted for somebody the media told you to vote for and you do not believe in. Baldwin has my vote tomorrow.
As much as I like Baldwin I strongly disagree here. If you vote for him all you do is help Obama get into office, which is the worst thing you'd want to do as a conservative. We need to fix the political system to involve more than two parties first before we start voting outside of it. The best way to do that is to vote using a ranking system and require that all candidates be invited to the debates.
Well Chuck, I don't know if you monitor these boards at all, but I went to vote for you today; and much to my surprise, your name wasn't on the ballot. I wrote your name in. I hope enough Americans do the same; if only to make a statement.
The Third Party Presidential Debate will take place on Thursday, October 23rd at 9pm EST, in Washington DC.
The National Press Club will announce details of this Debate in a press conference at 10:00 am on Tuesday, Oct. 21st [or you can also get the details at freeandequal(dot)org].
I voted for Ron Paul in the primary, but McCain doesn't care if I own a gun, Obama does and Biden is dangerously anti-gun and Hillary could end up in the Supreme Court, I don't want that so there is a difference, but Ron Paul could have done better if it weren't for the 911 inside job folks. When you go to someone's door to support a candidate, then explain why the Federal Reserve should be abolished and not about Bush and Cheney bringing down the towers.
If you truly care about your 2nd ammendment rights, you have to vote for CHUCK ! He is obviously by far the most constitutional Candidate , hes a true Patriot !
I absolutely REFUSE to throw my vote away on Osama Obama or the Globalist Moderate Liberal Mclame, Both men do not Represent my Traditional American values but BALDWIN does so he gets my vote !!!!
I supported Ron Paul, but He's no longer in the race. It looks like Chuck Baldwin would be the next best candidate. Obama/McCain - represent two different heads on the same snake. Follow the money. They are backed by the same people.
i am voting for chuck baldwin neither obama or mc cain give a shit for american people same ole crap and lies, time for americans to stand together and send a strong message to our curropted govt, by voting for chuck this would clearly tell them were finished with their lies and criminal ways
Until today, I had no idea who I would vote for. I like neither McCain or Obama. In light of where our country is now, we need something totally different to change its course. Our founding fathers knew what they were doing when they created the United States of America, and sadly America hardly resembles what their vision was. The Democrats and Republicans will not provide real change - it will only be superficial. It's time that we had a viable third choice and I like what I see here.
Me too, i just decided that i want my vote to count for something, so i refuse to throw it away on 2 frauds like Obama and Mccain. Both men will change NOTHING
Baldwin speaks for my Beliefs, so hes got my Vote ! Principles over Popularity is what i call it
Since youtube won't allow me to post links (not sure why) If you want to know if Chuck Baldwin is on your states ballot do a google search Chuck Baldwin Ballot it should be the 1st one that comes up.
Interested in knowing where he stands on additional issues google Constitution Party Platform again it should be the 1st link.
I'm DEFINATELY voting 3rd party. Anyone who votes for McCain/Obama is brainwashed or has "Stockholm Syndrome". Too bad people can't get informed..they just believe the hype and are too dependant to break away from the MACHINE.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
This Baldwin guy is laughable. He's a religious nutjob who will send the country to hell. I feel sorry for people who are drinking the Ron Paul kool-aide.
yeah..cause Ron Paul is a total kook.... he was WAYYYY off on the economy, WAY off on the Iraq war... WAY off on the patriot act... this Ron Paul guy is NUTS!!!! Can you imagine a country with Ron Paul as president...just think...sound money and low taxes...HE'S NUTS!!!!
Stop the Two-Party insanity! Vote with your heart, stop being fooled by the Horse Race Mentallity. Send a clear message that this Duopoly must end now!
John McCain promised that as President, he would veto every pork laden spending bill that congress sends him. Then he comes out and not only supports this massive "pork laden" Wall Street bail out bill, but he actually votes for it! This proves he is a big spending liberal who can't seem to tell the truth.
John McCain just lost my vote and I'm now a former Republican. I support Chuck Baldwin in 2008. Chuck was firmly against this bail out scam that shafted the US Taxpayers.
Obama and McCain followers have no place for commenting on this video. This video is for INTELLIGENT people who really understands what's going on. So go bitch elsewhere.
I'm black and young. I'm not a blind Obama follower like most of my peers. My favorites are Chuck, Ralph nader, and Cynthia mckinney. AMericans, not Globalist. I'm sicking of sending troops to timbuktu, paying for thousands of bases allaround the globe, signing fraudulent trade deals like NAFTA and CAFTA that destroy our jobs, open borders because the elties want cheap labor, etc. In short I'm sick of GLOBALIZATION! I think the verdict is in on the whole "global" movement crap: Failure
you sound like an intelligent , objective independent thinking, curious American Patriot to me bro
its sad that amongst your peers , you are a rare individual . The Main problem with America isnt the Media or the 2 parties , its actually your avg American Moron who has no interest in whats best for America.
Truth is, all any of us have to do is simply vote our heart, conscience and values and we can have anything we want ! Anyone who votes Mccain Obama is a coward if u ask me
Yep we have a nation of naive apathetics. at first I thought Obama just might be a DOMESTIC president if were elected. However, the more and more I listened to him the more and more he sounded like another INTERNATIONALIST puppet for the monied elite who want to destroy our CONSTITUTION. I was thinking the other day about how this country is not even a SINGLE country anymore because of the NORTH AMERICAN UNION. We are married to canada and mexico! lol! Whatever happened to Independence.
"I do know Obama is against shipping our best young people to any war." haha he's in favor of defending Georgia.. let's ship our kids over to Israel and Georgia to watch them die.. OBAMA 08!
If Obama is so 'entrenched with Democrats,' then WHY DID HE NOT TAKE A DIME FROM THEIR PARTY MONEY? Maybe because he does not care to be BEHOLDEN to anyone except those who worked for years to get him nominated.
As for your second long comment, YOU tell ME to come up with facts, but THEN YOU ask me what I THINK a comment meant! Gee that is not factual.. an opinion. I do know Obama is against shipping our best young people to any war. Have you ever browsed Obama's website?
You are right Obama is a blip. If he was CORPORATE, he would be BIG STUFF. I am not trying to win here. I am trying to plead that maybe, just maybe he has cred. There DOES have to be 2 candidates, and he has the voter's money to fight the Coporate stranglehold. YOU WIN YOU WIN YOU WIN.. is that better for YOU? We are in the same room, but I am just kicked like an ass.
Well if its your site you can make stuff up and speak of personality and generality and anything anything.. but it wont keep McCain from keeping war going. Its like that. I am not a democrat, but there are 2 guys in the current race. This speech is dated.
Obama is a Radical Liberal , and Mccain is a Globalist Moderate Lib, what kind of choice is that ?
American politics are truly Ridiculous , Nohting but a popularity contest for Morons. its embarassing and so pathetic.
However, this mssg is slowly and surely beginning to gain critical Mass, Lets all keep working hard to let as many Open Minded Objective Americans know they DO have another choice !
Baldwin is an Excellent choice for all independent thinking, intelligent Americans
NO I said YOU REPEAT THREE PAGES OF THE EXACT WORDS, EXACT 3 PEOPLE OVER AND OVER, its a little odd. NO THUMBS RECORDED EITHER!!
You take what OBAMA did say, but no truth about when he would attack Iran, etcetera. He will protect America. OK?
Whatever the 3rd party stands for, under -stand 3rd party would benefit to see Obama is NOT BEHOLDEN TO ANYONE, no, not even to a third party's platform!
Sorry you are stuck and must stay stuck..u must get a cramp once in a while?
Hmm, you do remember that Obama's #1 source of contributions are employees of Goldman Sachs, don't you?
Obama talks a lot about change, but how concretely has he challenged the corporate power structure in the U.S.?
Socialism doesn't work, and that is what Obama represents. Peace works, but unfortunately he is too damned wishy washy to actually be a champion for peace. How about the idea to spread the war to Pakistan, and really push hard into Afghanistan? Worked great for the Soviets, right?
zydie: NO actually I dont "REMEMBER" the crap you listen to as being fact. Sounds like tv crap, I dont swallow anything I hear in the media.
Obama has challenged the coporate power structure more than any career politician, or other person.. by not accepting bribes than any campaign in modern history.
You dont know DEMOCRACY from socialism. That is as tired as the McCain name calling.
You dont even know his policy towards Pakistan and Afghanistan: OB spoke out first vs war.SOVIETS!URsowac!
Listen, I have never owned a TV in my life. It certainly isn't my source of information - but when Obama says before AIPAC
"I will do everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Everything."
What is he implying?
Go to opensecrets . org. Read the list of Obama's campaign contributors - # 1, 3, and 4. And then tell me one specific way he is "challenging the corporate power structure."
Don't get me wrong, I have no love for McCain-I despise him in every way. Obama's character is much better, no question. But we must recognized that the Democrats have allied with the Republicans in betraying America, and Obama is very much an establishment Democrat. The divide between them is largely superficial, largely just for show.
It's easy to rail against the corporate plutocrats who run our country. But if you don't name names, if you don't give specifics, it's just hot air.
I have never deleted a response, so i assume you are referring to the censorship that youtube is doing, and btw, obama has stated he will attack iran, he has changed his stance on the war many times, he is a blue-blood elite, cuz to cheney & bush, he will destroy american sovereignty.
A vote for Obama is a vote for change from the culture of corruption and dishonesty that has hurt America so badly the last 8 years. This corruption is playing an even larger role in McCain'c campaign. But its no match for this grassroots movment for OBAMA. Try to realize Obama is not beholden to a PARTY, or corporate America, but he is beholden to voters across the nation. In August, in response to Obama's speech considered by some to be better than JFK's, 62 million was donated by VOTERS. Vote!
Obama is ABSOLUTELY beholden to the DNC, as McCain is to the RNC. Obama hardly ever saw a dem-endorsed bill he didn't like. You are drinking the koolaid, my friend. We outgrew the taste of it a long time ago.
there is NOTHING new or different about Obama. He is just yet another slick talking smooth salesman, a Conventional Phony pure political guy only out for his own Power, Ego and Money.
In America sadly, the ONLY critera People vote on is Popularity. Issues, character, Honesty , consistency , voting record, NONE of that matters.
As one Republican told me in 2000 about Bush, " i dont know or care where he stands on the issues, hes got a real fun down to earth personality, good enough for me
OH dang! This is a site where they just repost the same dumb comments, carbon copies, over and over. Same 2 pages go back to page 10 or so.. So hey why not
SLAM ME, you know you like to! Come on. Do it again, make up stuff -and call people names- show how big you think your words are!
What a drama queen! You are beating your head against a wall: we believe STRONGLY in the power of the FREE MARKET and the US constitution. Do you really think you can persuade any here to vote for a quasi-socialist proponent of wealth re-distribution?
The media are puppets owned by corporate America. We dont need media to think. Its clear that Obama supporters intimidate the outsiders~ Mumbo-jumbo, double talk and a toxic mix of lies here. Did someone dare say females vote for a face? Sexist! And 'if the Obama movement wont listen to the media, we must be emotional?'-Desperate name-calling! Just more of the same political slams. Suprise: AMERICANS vote with free will. Yes,WE CAN! We waited out the Bush siege. Now its Obama: 08! VOTE!
Yes the media are puppets. That is why Ron Paul was ignored, the simple fact that Obama gets any media attention is because he is one of the in club. Do you really think we will see change? Look who his VP is. Yes Bush stunk up this country, McCain and Obama are the same putrid stench just wrapped in different paper. Yes a lot of females vote for face, I have heard them say it themselves.
You just dont understand that there are over a hundred million, or a hundred fifty million people now visiting Obama's website. And donating as little as $20 to keep him financed. Not BEHOLDEN TO ANY PARTY, just what he has spent his LIFE on: helping people who are pawns of the rich who run this country.Your vote for Baldwin will be a blip on the Corporate Owned Media. Obama has survived the slurs and lies, and does not have 7 close advisors or at least 177 lobbyists that have been on his staff.
Obama is a total Lightweight, an empty suit . He is all fluff, slick style with no substance. His entire candidacy from the beginning was only based on Charisma, good Looks, and pure popularity.
He was never qualified to be a Senator in my Opinion, and certainly not President ! He is a Big spending big govt. Liberal, i could never vote for a man with his views
It's true, just a little phrase like Clinton making a joke of "trickle down economics" or Arnold coming up with "economic girly-boys" or Bush beating Kerry with "flip-flopping" and now ObombA and "change".
Peanut brains like stupid little things like that. You give them the TRUTH and their eyes glaze over and they get depressed.
Lots of frightened people here. Great person but, Seems its down to 2 candidates. The media leads MOST people's thoughts, plus the debates, which can get goofy --esp with the 'most negative and dishonest campaing in modern history.' No one can believe Obama has been chosen/totally financed/ and voted in by voters. Since its never happened since buying a candidate became legal. Type in any subject, question, quote, policy, etc on OB's website..consider the 62 million donated by voters in one month.
You're close but you totally missed the CORE of the issue. The Media doesnt lead people as much as it Reflects them. Lets just be honest
Most Americans dont vote intellectually . They vote emotionally , The reason artificial fluff and Style trumps Substance and Principles is because the American Morons, ahh excuse me Voters, dont vote with substance.
Why does the Media have ZERO power in Leading Persons who are voting for Chuck ? The Media has NO power in influencing me
For instance, i was talking recently to a group Of Obama supporters who love him and plan on voting for him.
I asked them do they watch alot of TV and they said no only about 5hrs a week or so and they dont follow the news closely .
So i asked them point blank, why are you Voting for Obama ? 1 girl said Because hes Hot and she ALWAYS votes on Looks only. Another person said 'because when he speaks He mezmerizes me with his charisma.
Hate to say it , but the true Enemy within is Your Next door Neighbor , Your avg. American Voter.
Americans dont vote on Integrity, Issues, Values, concepts or Principles. They vote on celebrity , Popularity and feelings.
If the Media tomorrow said WE WANT EVERYONE to vote for Chuck Baldwin, He still would never win Because when you speak CONSTITUTIONAL LANGUAGE to your avg Moron, excuse me, American, its way over his peanut brain to undersand, A Nation Of Morons is the problem
View ! 4750 mine will be 4751 what is up with youtube??? I mean (biastube) is better name But CHUCK BALDWIN IS HOPE TRUTH AND THE AMERICAN WAY!!!! VOTE CHUCK BALDWIN 2008
A vote for McCain is a vote for Obama and vice-versa.
They are just two sides of the same coin.
Only 16% of the people vote for a candidate with any real conviction, so let's give the rest an alternative to 5 dollar gas, collapsing dollar, empire building, world policing, being the most hated nation on earth, fighting and dying for Israel, being taxed to death, and having their children born owing 35,000.00 dollars to the government.
It's not even worth replying to that carbon guy. He obviously was either a victim of the "no child left behind" program or a protester of the "war on drugs" campaign. Maybe both.
Voting for the lesser of two evils continues to place the evil of Israel in the White House.
I just wonder if Israel, a state the size of New Hampshire, already has some of it's 500(and that's DE-classified) nuclear weapons buried on American soil.
StiffyMagnum: you talk about the "evil of Israel" and suggest that Israel caused the 9/11 disaster (unless I misunderstood). I've been planning to vote Baldwin, but now I'm concerned. What are the beliefs of Baldwin & the CP about Israel? I believe they receive too much $ from US, but I certainly don't think they are evil in any way. Please explain if you would.
You obviously do not know about 9-11 and who did it. Google "dancing israelis" "george washington bridge bomb" and "israel 911". Not enough room to type here.
It is time to vote these Zionist clowns like Biden, Clinton, Lieberman, Schumer, Reed, Pelosi, and all the others out. We have many Israeli/American insurgents in our government who are PAID with American taxdollars but their LOYALTY lies with Israel.
That's all I can give you. Figure the rest out on your own.
rvolutionU2: You're not going to make a strong statement. It won't make any statement; I know because I've been through this. What you are going to do is help socialistic, liberty hating, totalitarians to assume office and control all three branches of government. Is that what you want? What the hell are you thinking?!?!
Voting for either McCain or Obama is simply a vote for Israel. Who wants Israel to keep sending our sons and daughters to fight their wars for them? Raise your hand.
There are NOT terrorists around every corner. This whole charade is simply to install laws which will one day make US, the OUTSPEAKERS, terrorists when we one day revolt against a terrorist state.
So, all sheep who want to be be a peon in the New World Order, lend McCain or Obama your vote. Or, get educated and vote OTHER.
What's with all the talk of Obama killing the republic? What about McCain? He does not believe in the rule of law (the supreme law being the US constitution). A guy that can make unconstitutional laws such as McCain-Fiengold, thinks that spending future generations wealth policeing the world and creating countless new enemies somehow makes us safer, and is clueless on economic issues does not deserve my vote. America will be much worse off whether it's Obama or McCain
jcdow: Obama is hard left, McCain is not. An Obama presidency means all three branches of government can be diven to the hard left. Importantly, there will be two supreme court justices replaced; McCain gives us a soild chance that they will be conservative; with Obama they will be liberal. An Obama victory will allow the left to crush the very foundational ideologies of the constitution. But McCain gives us the ability to fight against this; without McCain in office, it's Obama, and disaster.
your "maverick" is not a conservative. he is simply a tool of Zionist Jews and you are buying into all the propaganda. Do you really think you need to give the government 25% of your money? Is that fair to you? Either way, we are fucked. One will spend money on Healthcare and skim off the top, and the other will skim from the war chest. Do you feel safer because the tv tells you that you are? Israel will bomb us again whenever they want, and you will think it was Radical Muslims. So sad.
StiffyMagnum: Who said I was a McCain supporter? I'm not. I am saying that McCain is the only choice. What I'm discussing is on a whole different level. Think deep. Leaning ideologies and justices are huge. If we allow all three sections of gov to swing hard left, they will push us into a socialist totalitarianism with no opposition. Voting for Baldwin, Barr, etc is only going to help the enemies of the state.
StiffyMagnum: No, I understand perfectly. I am trying to get through to you but it's not working. If you vote for Baldwin, you are voting against the republic. It is not the lesser of two evils. You need to think. There will be a time for this, and not is not it.
They are each horrible in their own different but equal ways.
George W. Bush certainly had credentials of conservatism coming in, didn't he? Are you arguing that he increased liberty in this country? No, we lost at least as much freedom under "conservative" GWB as under "liberal" Clinton.
A vote for Baldwin is not a vote for Obama, because I would never vote for either of these two men anyway.
jdcow: As a note, I agree with most of your points on McCain, not all. However, he leans conservative, will very likley support conservative justices; he has shown that though a very conservative pick in Palin. The fact is, not voting for him is a vote for Obama, who stands contrary to everything the republic stands for.
So JJ, you want open borders, amnesty, North American Union? The candidate you want every one to vote for is for all of the above that I mentioned...remember last year - McCain, Kennedy Amnesty bill, which did not pass cause majority of Americans did not want Amnesty...and Obama wants Amnest too...with North American Union and Open borders...you are the one advocating a distruction of the Republic...YOU NEED TO THINK DEEP!
JJ Carbon- where do you draw the line? Do you always vote for the lesser of two evils? McCain throwing some "conservative" reteric our way to get our votes does not undo all of the harm he has caused the conservative movement.
so if the choices were Hitler vs Stalin, which would you vote for.
Death count: Hitler-11 million Stalin-20 million
jdCow: It's not the lesser of two evils. It's keeping Obama out, period. We must drive a wedge into the ability for government to steamroll liberty, meaning we need conservative justices and someone with at least some conservative leaning ideology. Obama will enable all three banches of goverment to be hard-left; it will absolutely kill the repbulic. And for what?! So a guy can get a few votes. This isn't Hitler vs. Stalin, which equals armed revolution. And, I'm trying to prevent that.
StiffyMagnum: So true. Let's hope we can avoid this and do it in other ways. Something we must to is keeping Obama out of the presidency; that is critical. Voting for anyone other than McCain, given the structure of this election, is disasterous.
revolutionU2: One of the two front runners is going to win, period. An Obama candidacy would be disasterous for the republic. We need your vote; voting agaist the republic isn't going to help anything.
revolutionU2: Wrong. And,now you are fighting against me as well. We need to join or we will lose the republic. Siphoning off votes which put in a hard leftist and liberal justices, at this critical time, is probably the biggest and worst mistake any person could make today. There will be no stopping the totalitarian steamroller if Obama gets in office. We must prevent that, and voting for McCain is the only way to do it. We cannot be so selfish and unprincipled as to kill the republic.
revolutionU2: That's not why I am saying it. I would much rather have Baldwin, Paul, or Barr as president. But voting for them does NOTHING. It doesn't send a statement, it doesn't do anything but give Obama a vote. And there is a huge, huge difference in both the leaning ideologies and justices nominations between Obama and McCain. We cannot put that socialistic totalitarian in the Presidnecy simply becuase we are too selfish to make a choice for the republic. McCain is the only choice.
McCain is a MAFIOSO...he uses the same scare tactics that the Mafia has in the past...just watch and read how he handled the state conventions...same as the Mafia...NO DIFFERENCE...McCain IS ANTI-AMERICAN AND ANTI-CONSTITUTION. Enough Said.
charlesn12: McCain is certainly not ideal. I agree. The fact is, we have alot more to worry about. This is not the lesser of two evils. Believe me, this has happened before and the effects were huge; we almost lost the republic and this time it can easily be worse.
Read your own words: "McCain is certainly not ideal. I agree. The fact is, we have alot more to worry about. This is not the lesser of two evils." Are you not stating to yourself the lesser of two evils...and you know about McCain? WAKE UP MAN!
JJCARBON: You are waffling...you make statements like: " McCain is certainly not ideal..." and you are urging other to vote McBama...your are a flip-flop...fact! Wake UP!
The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. From: Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in our Time, Macmillan New York 1966.
You guys are missing the mark. A vote for Baldwin is simply a vote for Obama, voting for Baldwin is a selfish act that works 'against' the republic. It doesn't make a statement, it doesn't make a movement, it doesn't do anything, except put us in more danger. It's not voting for the lesser of two evils, we are talking about a vote for the republic. Although I like Baldwin, McCain is the only choice we have, period. Anything else is a huge mistake is this close and hugely critical election.
lurking99: If you are so irresponsible and selfish as to not do the right thing and help save our republic, then you're part of the problem. Let that be on your conscience. A vote for Baldwin is a vote for Obama, and against the Republic, period.
charlesn12: No, it is not the lesser of two evils; It is saving the republic. This election is immensly critical. The two frontrunners are very close and we cannot risk an Obama presidency - there is a huge difference both in leaning ideologies and the justices. Obama will plunge us into a dark age of socialistic totalitarianism Baldwin is significant in that he not need your vote, but the republic does as those votes will play right into Obama's hands.
First: The "Republic" is NOT the "Republican Party". Get that thru your head...second...read the following below written by Carroll Quigley author of Tragedy & Hope...I am sick and tired of the so called "Lesser of Two Evils" Zombies like yourself...GROW UP!!
charlsen12: Itn't not the lesser of two evils and has nothing to do with the Republican party. You fail to grasp the importance of this issue or this election. I suggest you read some of my other posts on other threads. We seriously need your vote, Obama will be disasterous.
StiffyMagnum: It's not the lesser of two evils. Please re-read my posts. If Obama takes office, you won't have to think about future elections becuase the country will move so far left that the republic will be gone, period.
Oh, I am voting alright...but not like a zombie or sheepo...McBama is no improvment...and I predict that either D or R will win...I am focusing on the local candidates in my own area where I live...forget the presidential garbage...and I will stick with the 3rd party candidate...Chuck Baldwin...so...forget it JJCarbon...GROW UP!!! USE YOUR BRAIN...Think outside the box!!
You are right. We should look at "winning" in a different scope now.
The problems we are facing are only going to get worse with the two major candidates and we have to look at making a statement now.
The two party system has become 2 sides of the same coin, and even though they may look different, it's still a quarter.
The vote I was saving for Ron Paul now goes to Chuck Baldwin, not because he will win but because it will send a message that we are sick of the status quo.
Also too remember, All of our Votes that we DONT give to Obama or Mccain, and instead give them to a Man who truly has earned them and Deserves them like Chuck, Means that we are BUILDING and CONSTRUCTING and LIterally "forming" Our future as well as the country.
This is a deep but simple concept but its the truth. We dont need to "win" this years Election to WIN what our ultimate goal is. For instance if Chuck gets 10 % of the Vote, than Next election the Media HAS to follow him !
Getting a Man like BALDWIN in the white house is a Methodical step by step process, its Not rocket science.
You dont and cant build a house by attempting to build the upstairs 1st and decorate finishing touch. You have build the CELLAR and FOUNDATION of the house 1st. Then once you have that solidified and "in place" than you can concentrate on the rooms, higher structures etc.
Let us Be clear, Chuck Needs us to build the FOUNDATION 1st. That means Next step is media , debates, THEN victor
Does Chuck Baldwin or Bob Barr have any leadership experience? How does he stand up against Sarah Palin? We need someone like her to get involved as president...not just VP. Does Barr or Baldwin have the moxie to turn this country on it's ear and clean up the corruption at the federal level? Or try to put Air Force I on ebay? Get rid of the fat in capitol and whitehouse staffing, etc? Make the USA free again?
This speech is Not hard to understand, it makes total sense, but sadly its WAY over the heads of most Americans sadly ; (
For the American morons, ahh excuse me Voters, most of them couldnt care less about Constitutional Concepts or principles. Just Yell HOPE and CHANGE at them , even if its meaningless and you cant back it up, they dont care, they will vote for you, the more phony you are the more they will love you !
Palin isnt runnin for Pres. , the internationalist Moderate Liberal Mccain is.
John 'i am for open borders , Amnesty and Spanish as 2nd offical Lang. ' Mccain is not a true Conservative.
Baldwin, Barr, Alan Keyes are all superior choices to the Moderate Liberal Mccain. Voting for Mccain is gutless and cowardly. I want someone who truly represents my Principles and core values, and that aint Mccain, Sorry.
I will vote for a Consistent Independent Constitutional Conservative !
Dont split hairs, whichever one you choose , you are making a superior choice to the Obama mccain insanity !
Both Barr and Baldwin will take this country in the Right Direction , thats whats important, both good honorable decent men with character, and Respect Constitutional Principles
i am voting for baldwin i had enough of democrats and republicans time for a new change a change of party!!!! we need to tell this fucked up govt. we have enough of dems and republicans!!! it will clearly send a messege that americans are reforming to newer party a 3rd party. bush wants cheap labor in here to destroy middle class, we need to secure our borders, health care, i am voting for chuck baldwin.
REMEMBER, The GOAL HAS to be to generate enough buzz, support and votes so that the Media HAS to pay attention, and the election commission in the next election HAS to include the Constitution Party Candidate in those TV Fall Debates !
thats the ONLY way we have any shot at a National Massive audience to REALLY propel this mssg. to new Unimagined Heights, it is ONLY then we have any shot at VICTORY !
but we have to stay strong and work hard and build this up NOW, to WIN in the future
"sure i totally agree with Baldwin on practically evthing he says, he sounds like a wonderful candidate and is much better than Obama or Mccain, only problem is he has No chance of winning so i cant vote for him '
than tell them my previous mssg. , WINNING right now is not the goal, rather we have to walk before we can Run, and you cant win a sprint track race unless you LEARN how to run.
Its a step by step building process, it starts now
I am in PA, and Chuck has EARNED my vote with his honesty, character , clarity, intelligence and Constitutional values.
This Man is the ideal of what the founding fathers would want in a president ! If we dont vote for him or at least a Man like this, than we truly deserve to loose this counntry.
You are 100 percent correct. Your only responsibility is to do the Right thing, and dont worry about everyone else. Because most Citizens are utter morons who know Nothing about the Constitution or Voting Responsibly is not yours or my fault.
We only have to worry about our vote and let the rest fall where it may happen to go. Because 85 % of Americans would vote for Hitler as Long as he had a D or R after his name doesnt mean we all have to be that Stupid.
he won't win because america has been under attack since 1775 but we will win in the end even if it is not in this world because god rule all this life. This world is ruled by satan (old testament) but when all have power to rule all.. Yall ready for biden council on foreign relations. nothing we can do but be ready!!!!!! time is soon patriots will prevail and the only spy gate is god! lol at least im trying
Chuck is definitely endorsing THE RIGHT MAN in RON PAUL - but hopefully, yet I have my suspicions, NOT doing so ONLY for his OWN, GREEDY NEED!
I don't trust CHUCK BALDWIN one little bit, and he's the furtherest from being a TRUE CHRISTIAN than MOST that I've encountered, & trust me, that amounts to A LOT OF HYPOCRITES!!!
BALDWIN is a good Man, He speaks in very intelligent, clear concise language.
He is a true, consistent , independent constitutional conservative hero !
I am in PA and i voted for CONSTITUTION PARTY nominee in 04' and will do so once more and encourage everyone i know of to do the same. Voting lesser of 2 evils is for Dishonest Morons, not for a free intelligent public. Vote your heart, conscience and ideals
I am also in Pa, My question though is, if Baldwin is not allowed on the ballot how are we going to vote for him? So far, according to the CP website, he needs something like, 30k more signatures before he'll be considered a candidate on the Pa Ballot.
You ask a fair question. I notice that PA has the second highest # of signatures required of the states that are listed. (Many states are close to (or have met) the requirements.) Isn't the CP based in Lancaster, PA? Could that be so the Repubs can keep them at bay?
Maybe you could contact the party and ask what you could do to help? They probably have ways you could get involved.
I have contacted the local office. I believe they're based in Blawnox, pa. It's spelled Blownox..but.. It phoenetically sounds similar. AT ANY RATE, I contacted them and they emailed me copies of petitions to get his name on the ballot. I assumed that since some states are 'write in' states and others require a petition that we wouldn't be able to write him in. If that's the case, I won't be voting. Blawnox is about 10 mins east of Pittsburgh btw. Which is 15 mins w. of Me.
I noticed the high petition requirement. It's GROSSLY high compared to other states. I'm shocked they would require such a high number of signatures for a conservative candidate when Pa as a whole is so vastly liberal. People argue the country folks are conservative, but when you have two major metros and several smaller metros running the roost...there's not much comparison.
Thanks for the Update i was not aware of that. I know the CP nominee was on our PA Ballot in 04' i just assumed Chuck would be on there this time also.
I suppose Freedom is a constant vigilant struggle that requires alot of work. I dont have alot of free time or Resources but i will do my Best to help with this effort for sure.
I'm sorta responding to a couple posts at once due to the limited character count. But, I've been a repub. since I was 18. tho honestly wasn't that long ago. However! I'm already disgusted by the Repub party. I'm a Baldwin supporter through and through. This is the first time I feel like I'd be voting for someone who REALLY really represents me.
I can proudly say that "Yes, I did" vote for Chuck Baldwin. I only wish the rest of America had too.

Vote for Satan. Why vote for the lesser of two evils?
redletterchurch 3 years ago
Voting for someone that you don't agree with or a candidate that you feel is the lesser of 2 evils is wasting your vote. The bottomline is, why do you vote? I vote because I want to show my support for a candidate that represents me and my values, but more than that, as a Christian I am required to stand up for righteousness whatever the cost. God is in control.
Baldwin got my vote.
csalix21 3 years ago 9
I challenge you with this. If you are in a state that will probably be safely Obama's, Does that mean that if I vote McCain in one of those states I am throwing away a vote? By your logic yes, by mine no. Cause your vote should be whom you want to represent you and what you believe.
Go vote your conscience and let God sort it out!
csalix21 3 years ago
Voting for a 3rd party is not a waste. It would be a waste if you voted for somebody the media told you to vote for and you do not believe in. Baldwin has my vote tomorrow.

I am leaning toward casting my vote for Chuck over Bob Barr with less than 24 hours to go until the polls open here.
Blueracer 3 years ago 2
As much as I like Baldwin I strongly disagree here. If you vote for him all you do is help Obama get into office, which is the worst thing you'd want to do as a conservative. We need to fix the political system to involve more than two parties first before we start voting outside of it. The best way to do that is to vote using a ranking system and require that all candidates be invited to the debates.
JesusDisciple777 3 years ago 2
Well Chuck, I don't know if you monitor these boards at all, but I went to vote for you today; and much to my surprise, your name wasn't on the ballot. I wrote your name in. I hope enough Americans do the same; if only to make a statement.

Listen, I have never owned a TV in my life. It certainly isn't my source of information - but when Obama says before AIPAC
"I will do everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Everything."
What is he implying?
Go to opensecrets . org. Read the list of Obama's campaign contributors - # 1, 3, and 4. And then tell me one specific way he is "challenging the corporate power structure."
zyodei 3 years ago
Don't get me wrong, I have no love for McCain-I despise him in every way. Obama's character is much better, no question. But we must recognized that the Democrats have allied with the Republicans in betraying America, and Obama is very much an establishment Democrat. The divide between them is largely superficial, largely just for show.
It's easy to rail against the corporate plutocrats who run our country. But if you don't name names, if you don't give specifics, it's just hot air.

StiffyMagnum 3 years ago
What's with all the talk of Obama killing the republic? What about McCain? He does not believe in the rule of law (the supreme law being the US constitution). A guy that can make unconstitutional laws such as McCain-Fiengold, thinks that spending future generations wealth policeing the world and creating countless new enemies somehow makes us safer, and is clueless on economic issues does not deserve my vote. America will be much worse off whether it's Obama or McCain
jdcow 3 years ago
jcdow: Obama is hard left, McCain is not.

JJCarbon 3 years ago
nevermind. i think you just don't understand. Obama and McCain are the enemies of the state. Think deeper.
StiffyMagnum 3 years ago
StiffyMagnum: No, I understand perfectly. I am trying to get through to you but it's not working. If you vote for Baldwin, you are voting against the republic. It is not the lesser of two evils. You need to think. There will be a time for this, and not is not it.
JJCarbon 3 years ago
You can't see the forest for the trees.
Yes, Obama is horrible.
But, McCain is horrible.
They are each horrible in their own different but equal ways.
George W. Bush certainly had credentials of conservatism coming in, didn't he? Are you arguing that he increased liberty in this country? No, we lost at least as much freedom under "conservative" GWB as under "liberal" Clinton.
A vote for Baldwin is not a vote for Obama, because I would never vote for either of these two men anyway.
zyodei 3 years ago 2
jdcow: As a note, I agree with most of your points on McCain, not all. However, he leans conservative, will very likley support conservative justices; he has shown that though a very conservative pick in Palin. The fact is, not voting for him is a vote for Obama, who stands contrary to everything the republic stands for.
JJCarbon 3 years ago
So JJ, you want open borders, amnesty, North American Union? The candidate you want every one to vote for is for all of the above that I mentioned...remember last year - McCain, Kennedy Amnesty bill, which did not pass cause majority of Americans did not want Amnesty...and Obama wants Amnest too...with North American Union and Open borders...you are the one advocating a distruction of the Republic...YOU NEED TO THINK DEEP!
charlesn12 3 years ago
JJ Carbon- where do you draw the line? Do you always vote for the lesser of two evils? McCain throwing some "conservative" reteric our way to get our votes does not undo all of the harm he has caused the conservative movement.
so if the choices were Hitler vs Stalin, which would you vote for.
Death count: Hitler-11 million Stalin-20 million
I guess you would have to go with Hitler.
jdcow 3 years ago
jdCow: It's not the lesser of two evils.

Lehman Brothers just went bankrupt today and Merrill Lynch has one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel. Same with Wamu.
Wall Street is in a panic today and some people are still dreaming the american dream and voting for 4 more years of status quo.

revolutionU2: One of the two front runners is going to win, period. An Obama candidacy would be disasterous for the republic. We need your vote; voting agaist the republic isn't going to help anything.

Anyone that would say that is just happy with how bad things are. How could any American be HAPPY with the way things are right now?
We have a way out of the 2-party trap and people like you don't like like it because it doesn't serve your purpose.
revolutionU2 3 years ago
revolutionU2: Wrong.
JJCarbon 3 years ago
How stupid to say a vote for Baldwin is a vote for Obama just to get your lowlife, ignorant McCain elected.
A vote for Baldwin sends a message that we want NEITHER of the republicrats.
revolutionU2 3 years ago
revolutionU2: That's not why I am saying it.
JJCarbon 3 years ago
McCain is a MAFIOSO...he uses the same scare tactics that the Mafia has in the past...just watch and read how he handled the state conventions...same as the Mafia...NO DIFFERENCE...McCain IS ANTI-AMERICAN AND ANTI-CONSTITUTION. Enough Said.
charlesn12 3 years ago
charlesn12: McCain is certainly not ideal. I agree. The fact is, we have alot more to worry about. This is not the lesser of two evils. Believe me, this has happened before and the effects were huge; we almost lost the republic and this time it can easily be worse.
JJCarbon 3 years ago
Read your own words: "McCain is certainly not ideal. I agree. The fact is, we have alot more to worry about. This is not the lesser of two evils." Are you not stating to yourself the lesser of two evils...and you know about McCain? WAKE UP MAN!
charlesn12 3 years ago
JJCARBON: You are waffling...you make statements like: " McCain is certainly not ideal..." and you are urging other to vote McBama...your are a flip-flop...fact! Wake UP!
charlesn12 3 years ago
The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. From: Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in our Time, Macmillan New York 1966.
charlesn12 3 years ago
You guys are missing the mark. A vote for Baldwin is simply a vote for Obama, voting for Baldwin is a selfish act that works 'against' the republic. It doesn't make a statement, it doesn't make a movement, it doesn't do anything, except put us in more danger. It's not voting for the lesser of two evils, we are talking about a vote for the republic. Although I like Baldwin, McCain is the only choice we have, period. Anything else is a huge mistake is this close and hugely critical election.

So, the "Lesser of two evils" - is this what you are promoting?
Evil is still EVIL!
charlesn12 3 years ago
charlesn12: No, it is not the lesser of two evils; It is saving the republic.

Get that thru your head...second...read the following below written by Carroll Quigley author of Tragedy & Hope...I am sick and tired of the so called "Lesser of Two Evils" Zombies like yourself...GROW UP!!
charlesn12 3 years ago
charlsen12: Itn't not the lesser of two evils and has nothing to do with the Republican party. You fail to grasp the importance of this issue or this election. I suggest you read some of my other posts on other threads. We seriously need your vote, Obama will be disasterous.
JJCarbon 3 years ago
so keep prolonging these cocksuckers in office by voting for the lesser of two evils? isn't that what we have been doing? this doesn't make sense.
The two major candidates are the same person, as they are funded by the same people. to vote for either one is a foolish idea.
The more votes third parties get now, the better the chances in 2010 or 2012.

Go ahead and vote for George W. McBAMA, for all I care...some day you will wake up in your deep sleep and realize what has gone on.
charlesn12 3 years ago

Palin isnt runnin for Pres. , the internationalist Moderate Liberal Mccain is.
John 'i am for open borders , Amnesty and Spanish as 2nd offical Lang. ' Mccain is not a true Conservative.
Baldwin, Barr, Alan Keyes are all superior choices to the Moderate Liberal Mccain. Voting for Mccain is gutless and cowardly. I want someone who truly represents my Principles and core values, and that aint Mccain, Sorry.
I will vote for a Consistent Independent Constitutional Conservative !

If anyone tells you the common response of
"sure i totally agree with Baldwin on practically evthing he says, he sounds like a wonderful candidate and is much better than Obama or Mccain, only problem is he has No chance of winning so i cant vote for him '
than tell them my previous mssg. , WINNING right now is not the goal, rather we have to walk before we can Run, and you cant win a sprint track race unless you LEARN how to run.
Its a step by step building process, it starts now

I am also in Pa, My question though is, if Baldwin is not allowed on the ballot how are we going to vote for him? So far, according to the CP website, he needs something like, 30k more signatures before he'll be considered a candidate on the Pa Ballot.
earthygreen 3 years ago
You ask a fair question. I notice that PA has the second highest # of signatures required of the states that are listed. (Many states are close to (or have met) the requirements.) Isn't the CP based in Lancaster, PA? Could that be so the Repubs can keep them at bay?
Maybe you could contact the party and ask what you could do to help? They probably have ways you could get involved.
dshinn27 3 years ago
Even if the CP PARTY is not on PA ballot, we can always just write his Name in
McCaintheLIBERAL 3 years ago
I have contacted the local office. I believe they're based in Blawnox, pa. It's spelled Blownox..but.. It phoenetically sounds similar. AT ANY RATE, I contacted them and they emailed me copies of petitions to get his name on the ballot. I assumed that since some states are 'write in' states and others require a petition that we wouldn't be able to write him in. If that's the case, I won't be voting. Blawnox is about 10 mins east of Pittsburgh btw. Which is 15 mins w. of Me.
earthygreen 3 years ago
I noticed the high petition requirement. It's GROSSLY high compared to other states. I'm shocked they would require such a high number of signatures for a conservative candidate when Pa as a whole is so vastly liberal. People argue the country folks are conservative, but when you have two major metros and several smaller metros running the roost...there's not much comparison.
