Usually for demonstrations its just a matter of preference. We use white for

all other forms of competition though.

We are actually thinking about switching to a white dobok pretty soon though. :)

@DoralWolves One detail to consider is that most digital video capture devices have problems with large white surfaces moving rapidly. Especially for gi tops, I found white to perform worst while videoing. White bottoms do not cause as much severe issues, though.
