@Techhead123ful well, the reason why this scene didn't end up in the movie was a ratings issue because one of the scenes was where the PG-13 and the R-rated must divide. that's why that scene bit the dust.

In my opinion it was VERY smart to keep this out of the final version and I'll tell you why. This movie is about the street racing world and the cars. Keeping a scene like this in would have made the movie overly "gushy" and teen-love-ish. It would've taken away from the focus of the movie and what it was supposed to be about and in fact turn it into some sort of action-romance. Would've been an epic fail instead of a an enjoyable movie if they went down that road. Cohen was smart.
